Obituary: Silver Ellen Caglia (aka "Butch" in childhood and "Blondie" in adulthood) 75 years old, of Fresno, CA passed away on , 30th, 2015. Silver was born in Fresno, CA on Veterans' Day, 11, 1939. She attended Sanger High School. Silver continued her education along with her husband at Fresno City . Silver was married to Franklin Joseph Caglia, they were married 36 years. Silver worked as an office administrator for OAD/IWS for her entire career. She enjoyed life to the fullest, some of her hobbies and interests were sewing, gardening, socializing, watching Elvis Presley movies, listening and dancing to Elvis's music. The family of Silver Ellen Caglia wishes to thank, Community Regional Medical of Fresno, St. Mary's Services, y Living at , Focus and Comfort Med. Trans. Silver was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Joseph Caglia; son, Franklin J. Caglia Jr; and her parents, Cecil and Dorothy Hicks. Silver is survived by her three children, Elaine Garcia, Denita Caglia and Anthony Caglia; her grandchildren, Christine Day, Denise Day, Tiffany Caglia, Lisa Studer and Matthew Gomes; great-grandchildren, Zackery and Katherine Studer and Vivian Lawson; sisters, Doris Gilstrap from Sequim, WA and Cecilia Day of Kerman CA; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Obituary: Louie Joseph Caglia, age 71, was born on 26, 1938 to Nick and Effie Caglia. He passed away at home with all his loving family surrounding him on 24, 2010. graduating from Fresno High School in 1957, Louie married the love of his life, Margaret Barcelos of Kerman, CA. were married 52 years. Louie was employed by Jensen and Pilegard as Store Manager for 40 years and retired in 1998. Louie and his wife Margaret previously owned Subway franchises in Fresno and Clovis. He was also a member of the City Allstar Committee for over 10 years. He enjoyed playing in competitive softball leagues, bowling leagues, traveling and his true passion after retirement was playing a round of golf in between taxiing his grandchildren around town. Louie loved watching professional sports on a afternoon in his sports room, but nothing compared to how much he loved watching his grandchildren on the ballfield. He enjoyed every moment he spent with his nine grandchildren. He had a very special connection with each and every one of them and they will all miss their Papa deeply. Louie was a very special person and touched the hearts of everyone he came in contact with and will be greatly missed by all. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Effie Caglia; sister, MaryAnne Caglia; and three brothers, Frank, Danny and Joe Caglia. Louie is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his daughters, Cheryl Herrera and her husband Armando, Julie Leonardo and her husband John; his son, Nick Caglia and his wife Sonia all of Fresno; and his nine grandchildren, Jacquelyn Ketch and her husband Bryan, Jerica St. Angelo and her husband Joey, Justin DuFresne, Jeremy Leonardo, Tyler Caglia, Brison Cortez, Jordan Caglia, Jake Herrera and Jessica Caglia. He was recently blessed with his great grandson, Ember Cortez. Louie is also survived by his five sisters, Antionette Brager, Jenny Goulart, Rose Marie DeManty, Julie Rocha and Elizabeth Locarnini. Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair on , 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Clovis on , 28, 2010 at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Clovis .
