Obituary: JUSTIN B. TAYLOR 1999-2015 Justin Bertrand Taylor, age 15, passed away on , 23, 2015, as the result of injuries received in an auto accident. Justin was born on 29, 1999, in Pensacola to his loving parents, Valerie and David Taylor, the youngest of 3 sons. His father passed away when Justin was only 5 years old. Justin attended Pine Meadow Elementary, Woodham Middle, and Tate High Schools. He lettered as a freshman on the Tate tennis team. He was an active member of the Pine Forest Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he participated in many youth activities including volunteering in service projects and participating in the Boy Scout troop, where he soon would have received his Eagle Scout Award. He was known for his contagious smile and his easy-going saunter. He was a gifted musician and had studied piano and guitar. Justin is survived by his mother; Valerie Taylor, brothers; Nathan Taylor of Miami and Spencer Taylor of Pensacola, grandparents; Glenda and Larry Taylor of Pensacola and Michele Mazeaud of Limoges, France, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfather; Jacques Amellal of Limoges, France. Obituary: Mrs. Juanita Whitaker Taylor, 86, died ( 25, 2014) at her residence following a long illness. She was a native of Lyons, GA but had lived most of her life in Ware . She was preceded in death by her husband, r Taylor; two sons, Larry Nasworth and Faron Taylor; and her parents, Andy Whitaker and Mollie Rowland Whitaker. Survivors include a granddaughter, Victoria Nasworth of Cochran; one great grandson, Kolton Brown of Cochran and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Obituary: Juanita Cooke Taylor, 88 of Vero Beach, died peacefully in her sleep at her family home on 21, 2014. Juanita was born on 15, 1926 in the Kinsey community near Dothan, Alabama. She attended local schools and graduated as Miss Houston High School and Salutatorian in 1945, then graduated from Campbell Business in 1946. She married her high school sweetheart, Harvey Taylor, in 1947. giving birth to her first child in 1951, the young family moved to Florida and settled in Vero Beach in 1958. She remained a resident of Vero Beach until her death with a summer residence near Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Juanita worked as a homemaker and mother until her youngest child entered elementary school in 1969 when she began working as a part-time bookkeeper for several businesses in Vero Beach. She worked for numerous years for the Indian River Planning and Zoning Department where she retired in 1986 in order to care for her invalid mother. Juanita was a devout Christian and spent many years as an active member of the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach where she taught School and was a leader of the Girls Auxilary and the Womens Missionary Union. In her later years, she and her husband became active members of Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach and Laurel Fork Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Harvey Taylor; two sons, Ed Taylor of Vero Beach and David (Pilar) Taylor of Boca Raton and daughter ElaineTaylor of Decatur, Georgia; two grandchildren, Julia Taylor Green of Atlanta, Georgia and Andrew Taylor of Boca Raton. She is also survived by her niece, Sandra Sue Thomas of Climax, Georgia. She was predeceased by her parents, George Grady Cooke and Esther Hollis Cooke; her brothers Bernard Cooke and Ralph Cooke; her nephew Jeff Cooke and her daughter-in-law Linda Taylor. Family visitation and a memorial service will be held at Kings Baptist Church on , 24 with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM and the service commencing at 5:00. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Kings Baptist Church Building Fund, 3235 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32966 in Juanita Taylors name. |
