Obituary: Gloria G. Poole, 90 of El Dorado, passed away , 23, 2015, at Timberlane and Rehab. She was born in 1925, to Allen Robert and Sarah Jane Ryder Gates in Pineville, LA. She was a long time member of East Main Baptist Church and a homemaker. Gloria loved gardening and working in her beautiful flower beds. Preceding her in death are her parents; sister, Marjorie Crain, and brother, Robert A. Gates. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Jewel B. Poole; two sons, Marvin Lewis Poole (Kaye) of Mt. Harbor. AR, Richard Alan Poole of Houston, TX; sister, Charlene Martin of Little Rock; and two grandchildren, Michael L. Poole (Gay), and Lora Krone (Josh). Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. , 25, 2015, at Youngs. services will be at 2:00 p.m. , 26, 2015, at East Main Baptist Church with Dr. Benjy McCann and Rev. Lawrence Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Youngs Directors. Memorials may be made to East Main Baptist Church, 1903 E.
