Obituary: Mench, Annette Felicia, 92, of South Tampa, passed away on May 18, 2012, with her daughter at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Mench; son, Gary Mench; and grandson, Chet Bembry. Annette is survived by son, Jim (Lonna) Mench, daughter, Linda Rauch, and grandchildren, Louise (Fred) Dorcus, Robin (Robert) Munoz, David (Jane) Mench, Frank Aycock, Jennifer (Jeff) McIntosh, Scott (Carrie) Bembry, Stacy Thomas, and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friends, Sue Hannan, Laura Freeman, and Diane Biebuyck. Cathy Mench lived with Annette for six years, allowing Annette to remain in her own home, which was her desire. Thanks to Jan McCabe for her kindnesses. Annette was a faithful supporter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI). She was generous, thrifty, witty, creative, and intelligent. She herself called Bon Secours Maria Manor in St. Petersburg her home since 2011. Special thanks to Sister Margaret, A-wing caregivers, and Hospice for their loving care of Annette. The family will receiver friends from 6-8 pm on , May 21, at Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace. 33617. In lieu of flowers, contributions to NAMI may be made in her honor. |
