Obituary: Ray Lee Manguson, 78 of Stuart, Florida passed away on 26th, 2015 at Martin and Restorative . Born in Dayton, Iowa, Ray had previously lived in West Palm Beach before moving to the Stuart area in 2007. Ray truly loved taking care of his grandchildren and was extremely proud of all of them. He lived in The Twin Lakes community, where he loved to socialize with his neighbors and friends with whom he discussed current and past events. Ray was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Ray is survived by his son, Allen Manguson and wife Mindy of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Melanie Toth and husband Robert of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, Jeff, Jon, Brett, Bailey, Brianna, and Blaire; brother, Donald; sisters, Alice, Dorothy, Marjorie, and Helen; and his former wife, Barbara Hartley. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Linnea, and brothers, Charles, Dwain, Kenneth and Glen. A memorial service will be held on 2nd, 2015 at 1:30 PM at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Stuart, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. Mangum sixty-three years ago on 24, 2014. Lived in Detroit, Michigan, worked at Square D for some time, and in the Food and Beverage Industry for many years even after moving to the Sarasota area Thirty three years ago. She was a long and faithful member of The Church of the Palms and a highly contributing member to her Community Association and fellow residents. Her kindness and sense of commitment was an inspiration to all who knew her. We are all definitely better individuals for having her in our lives. Her fierce independence, strength and love will live with us forever. Survived by beloved husband Eugene H. Mangum, brother-in-law, Harold and wife Patricia of Michigan and three loved nieces. Services will be held , Nov. 24, 2014, 11:00 a.m. Church of The Palms, Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Palms. |
