Obituary: Marilyn entered this earthly world 6, 1936, in Whittier, CA as the first of two daughters born to Raymond "Pete" and Gladys Kridler. Marilyn was peacefully accepted into her heavenly Fathers kingdom night, 8. Her sister, Marlene Lindsay, preceded her in death in 2013. In of this year Marilyn would have celebrated sixty years of marriage to her beloved and devoted husband, Edward "Kim" Drake. She was the proud mother of three children, Kathie Sinor (Rick), Ray (Theresa), and Brad (Kathy). She adored her grandchildren (eight), and great grandchildren (five). She created and maintained a clean, loving home, and made it a point to be there for the kids when they arrived from school. She was involved in and sup-portive of their school activities and was a member of the local garden club. She and Kim have been members of the Carmichael Presbyterian Church for forty-six years where she served many terms on the Board of Deacons as well as working in the food closet and serving as head usher at memorial services. A memorial service will be held on , 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Carmichael Presbyterian Church, 5645 Marconi Avenue, Carmichael, 95608. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marilyn Drake to the Carmichael Presby-terian Church, the Sacramento SPCA, or a charity of your choice. |

Obituary: In loving memory of Loretta Estelle Drake. Loretta left us to be with her husband Jim and her loving family and friends whom she has missed for so many years. We will miss her here but we can take solace in the fact that that she can now rest after a long struggle to remain with us, her friends and family who love her more than words can express. She put up the good fight as they say. Loretta was born 24, 1935 and she left this earth on 23, 2016. She died peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Andy and Peri Friend, her son Stephen Phillips, her sister in law's Jenny & Evelyn warren, her brother Tommy Warren and his wife Mel, many nephews and nieces. Her step children Robert, Dee Dee, & Jimmy, her grandchildren and great grandchildren Jeremy, Katie, Amanda, Shan, Kayden, Avery, Harrison, & Owen. She will be missed by her best friends Linda, Joevelyn, Shirley, Bev, & Joe and many others. We love you mom, it is our loss but heavens gain. May you rest in peace with God, and all those who are waiting for you. The family would like to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to those who helped Loretta in her fight for life. A special thanks to Bing, Raj, & all those at Davita dialysis that took such good care of mom.
