Obituary: Francesca Lucia Pistoia Domonouski, did not want an obituary that listed where she went to school and what work she did. She said in the end, all that matters are the people she loved and the people who loved her. If you knew her then you knew that above all else she loved her family and friends. For a tiny, little lady she had the biggest heart. It was her heart and her love that gave her incredible courage. She fought with the strength of one hundred men not to leave this earth. She did not want to leave her children Greg(Kristy) Cosmero, Ron(Linda) Cosmero, Monica(Terry)Jones, Bobbie Domonouski(Doug), Erin Domonouski, and Tami(Andy) Cumming. She did not want to leave her grandchildren: David, Kim, Adam, Nick, Sarah, Heather, Samantha, Cory, Matthew, Kamryn, Angel, Gunnar, Kassidy, and Jill. She did not want to leave her great-grandchildren Easton and Liam. She did not want to leave all of the friends and family she loved and who loved her. But as she fought, we promised each other we will never be separated. We know her spirit will always be with us. She will be with us on Christmas when we eat crab and clams and pasta. She will be with us in the morning when we brew a fresh pot of coffee and take that first warm sip. She will be with us when we play bingo or Tripoley late into the night. She will be with us when we comfort each other and talk on the phone with friends and family. She will be with us in our hearts always. The earth will not be the same without her. But we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven with her husband Jan Domonouski and her mother and father Rose and Frank Pistoia. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. |

Obituary: Hungarian sculptor Lehel Domokos passed away on , 26, 2015 at home in Laguna Hills, California. He was surrounded by his family. His sensitivity, kindness, and creativity made a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was born on 11, 1945 to his parents Ambrus and Emilia Domokos. Lehel was raised with three siblings in Satu Mare, a city in Romania with a large Hungarian population. He had one older brother, Alpar, and two younger sisters, Eniko and Reka. All who knew him could see he had a gentle soul and how he was able to bond with children and animals. Lehel was blessed with two daughters, Imola and Timea, with his wife Magda. were married in 1983 and separated in 1997. Lehels artistic talents led him to pursue graduate school, earning his masters degree in art. He produced exceptional works, but he was not one to seek out personal recognition. He was an innovator who worked independently. One of his most prominent pieces is the water fountain he sculpted for the city of Satu Mare, where it still stands in the center of his hometown. Lehel served in the Romanian military. Service was compulsory in communist Romania. Hating life under dictatorship, Lehel dropped his middle name, Nicolae, because he shared it with communist dictator Ceausescu. He fled the country in 1981 to pursue a new life in the United States and to start a family in a free country. He spoke three languages: Hungarian, Romanian, and English. His personal enjoyments included cooking, reading, gardening, soccer, and skiing. He was a private person who sought solitude, but had strong friendships with people all around the world. Favorite vacations included camping and traveling to Europe to visit friends and family. Lehel fought a brave seven-and-a-half month battle against a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. He lost his ability to speak, but thankfully his comprehension remained intact. He was 69 when he passed away. He is survived by his mother, children, and three siblings. Lehels ashes will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean according to his wishes. Family and friends will remember Lehel for the amazing, complex, and brilliant man and artist that he was. Házasságuk 14 évig tartott, 1997-ben elváltak. A bukaresti N. Grigorescu Képzomuvészeti Intézet tehetséges abszolvense volt, rengeteg értékes munkát hagyott maga után. Az egyik legkiemelkedobb alkotása a szatmárnémeti régi fotér parkjában lévo szökokút.<br /> Szolgált a román katonaságban, mivel az akkoriban a kommunista Romániában kötelezo volt, 1981-ben a kommunista életet hátráhagyva, új életet teremtett magának Amerikában. Három nyelvet beszélt: magyart, románt és angolt. Nagyon szeretett olvasni, fozni, kertészkedni, focizni, síelni. A vakációit legszívesebben kempingezéssel töltötte, de ha tehette sokszor utazott vissza Európába, hogy találkozzon az ott élo rokonaival, barátaival. Miután agydaganattal diagnosztizálták (glioblastoma multiform), Lehel hét és fél hónapon keresztül bátran küzdött betegségével. Elvesztette a beszédképességét, viszont a tudata tiszta maradt. 69 éves volt amikor elhunyt, hátrahagyva gyászoló édesanyját, gyermekeit és testvéreit. Lehel hamvait akaratához huen a Csendes-óceánba szórták szét, hogy ott találjon örök nyugalomra. Családjának és barátainak örökké hiányozni fog ez a csodálatos ember és kiváló muvész. |
