Obituary: Lucy Villegas Dominguez, 100, of Santa Paula, passed away peacefully on , 27, 2016. Lucy was born in Santa Paula to Genaro and Valeria Villegas on 24, 1916. She worked on the assembly line for Heubling Packing House for many years and also became the company nurse. She love to shop, work on her crocheting and embroidery as well as cooking for her family. She was a member of the Lady's of the Golden West organization. She was also a member of the Golden Girls Club, a group that met monthly to celebrate numerous birthdays. Lucy was married for 64 years to Refugio Dominguez and together they had three children, Gilbert (deceased), Barbara, and John. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband Refugio, her son Gilbert, her siblings, Ben, Frank, Patricia and Jenny, and two grandchildren, Daniel Moreno and Ronald Dominguez. Lucy is survived by her daughter, Barbara (and Manuel) Moreno, her son, John (and Dolores) Dominguez as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held for Lucy on , 10, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary, 738 E. Received Sacrament of Marriage of 1944 to her husband the love of her life Dario P. Dominguez. met, married and began their family in Amarillo, Texas. Traveled from Texas through California settling in Stockton to finish raising their family. Beautiful, classy and caring mother to Antonio & (Antonia) Dominguez, Luis & (Rebecca) Dominguez, Lydia Dominguez, Rita & (Alfredo) Mendez, Eva & (Richard) Guerrero, David &(Sylvia) Dominguez, Lenore Estrada, and Guadalupe & (Ralph) Ontiveros. Amazing and wonderful grandmother to 24 grandchildren, 75 great grandchildren, 34 great-great grandchildren, sister to five brothers and three sisters. Beloved Aunt to numerous nie- ces and nephews.
