Obituary: Beatrice Bultman Tyler -Bee passed on to her Heavenly Rest on May 6,2014. Born to Fred and Christine Bultman on Oct 16, 1920 in Columbia, SC, she grew up and lived her life in Jacksonville, FL. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and attended St. Mary Of-The-Woods in Indiana for 2 years. Bee married Neal F. Tyler, Jr (Jimmy) in 1948 and they were married for 32 years until his death in 1980. She later re-married Capt. Leo Roberts and was married for 18 years until his death in 2000. She has one daughter, Chris Harrill(David), and 3 granddaughters, Mary Harrill-McClellan(Jason), Jennifer Harrill-Taylor(Brett), and Carrie Harrill-Smith; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler, David and Jonah and Collier. She is also survived by a longtime beloved friend and companion, Mrs. Ruth Jordan. She also leaves a nephew, Tim Tyler (Melissa), niece Mrs. Connie Edgar (Tom) and many Bultman cousins. Bee worked for over 60 years at her fathers firm, Cain and Bultman, in the Payroll Office. She served as Treasurer of the Corporation for many years. She enjoyed the love and abiding friendship of her bridge group, known to all as he Foursome: Bee, Mrs. Lovie Ramsaur, Mrs. Peg Watson, Mrs. Kitty Jo Howard, and later Mrs. Mary Parham. played together for over 65 years, making important decisions for all the families which were represented in that group. She was a member of the Florida Yacht Club for many years and a faithful member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Bees family would also like to express their gratitude for the loving care shown to Bee by the entire staff at Heritage Crossings Assisted Living Facility where Bee spent the last two years of her life as well as appreciation for the kind care and comfort shared by the Hospice Staff of Community Hospice during the last week of her life. A Memorial service will be held at two oclock in the afternoon on , May 31, 2014 at The Oaklawn Chapel. Interment was private in Oaklawn . The family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice. |
