Obituary: Ruth Spivey Keesling, 89, of Sanford, FL passed away 9, 2017. She was born to the late Coy and Aletha Graham in Dothan, Alabama, on 6, 1928. Ruth was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She grew up on the farm in Dothan and resided there until moving with her first husband, Cecil Spivey, to Atlanta, Georgia in 1956. In 1968, the couple moved to Orlando. From Orlando, they moved to Jellico, Tennessee in 1979 where she continued work as a Medical Records Director. Previously, Ruth was a licensed beautician and hair dresser and owned her own shops in Dothan and Atlanta. her first husband passed, Ruth moved from Jellico to Zephyrhills, Florida. She retired from the medical industry at age 65. In 1995, Ruth moved to Orlando and remained in central Florida. She was a people-person and always loved to be surrounded by people. She enjoyed crafting and was gifted with sewing, quilting, crocheting, and ceramics. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Ruth was preceded in passing by her first husband, Cecil Spivey; her second husband, David Carrico; her late husband, Eldon Keesling; her parents, Coy and Aletha Graham, 2 brothers; and 5 sisters. She is survived by her children, Jan Campbell (Jim), Rick Spivey (Sharon), Lisa Tuten (Mikel), and Robin Baez; grandchildren, Ritchie Spivey, Natalie Inman, Ryan Spivey, Jamie Campbell, and Ashley Tuten; and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives. Visitation and Graveside Service will be held , 15 in Dothan, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions can be made to Spring Meadows Seventh-Day Adventist Church toward their building fund in memory of Ruth at 5783 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773. Also, Ruth Keesling Memorial donations will fund Emory Dementia and Alzheimers Research, gifts will be accepted through Clayton Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 734, Clayton, GA, 30525. |

Obituary: Mark David Keesling passed away suddenly in his sleep at home on , 27, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on 8, 1963 to Joseph R. and Sue A. (Evans) Keesling. He is predeceased by his mother, and survived by father Joseph R. Keesling, brother Joseph R. Keesling II (wife Mary), nephew Paul J. Keesling, cousin Jana Lee Keesling, many Keesling & Evans cousins, and many cherished and beloved friends. Mark was a flight attendant with United Airlines for 29 years, retiring only recently. He lived in Chicago (Schaumburg, IL) and later in Las Vegas, flying for United from those cities. While living in Orlando, he flew for United from Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas. He flew internationally to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and South America. From earliest childhood, his only desire was to be a flight attendant. Mark was an accomplished pianist and loved to play pop music and sing at the drop of a hat. Marks passions in life were his family; his childhood friend Sharla Guinn; his many dear flight attendant friends and his next-door neighbors in Chicago, Nevada, and Orlando; his dog Max and cat Missy Crystal Kitty; music groups ABBA, The Partridge Family, and The Carpenters; and tv shows Lost in Space and Space 1999. He attended Walker Junior High & Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, where he played clarinet in band and where he played piano for the jazz choir. He earned a B.A. in Mass Communications from Univ. of Central Florida. Mark loved everyone he met except for badly behaved airline passengers. He will be badly missed by his family and friends. Inurnment (burial of ashes) will take place Sat. 5, 2016 at 3 PM at (WOODLAWN GOTHA info HERE) and a festive Celebration of Life will be held Sat. 19 from 2-4 pm at the same location. Obituary: Richard Allan Keesler passed away on 16, 2015 at the age of 69. He had been a resident of Cape Coral, FL for 14 years, coming from his previous home in Courtlandt, New York. Richard had spent 34 years working for the city of Courtlandt and retired as the Foreman of the Recreation Department. He was a Life Member of the Verplank Fire Department; and was also a member of the Cop Shop. He was an avid fisherman and spent much time in the Florida waters. Richard will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda Eileen Keesler; son, Richard Keesler, Jr (and wife JeanMarie); daughter, Pam Rich (and husband Greg); as well as six grandchildren, Bianca, Blake, Noah, and Nicolas Keesler, and Gregory and Grant Rich.
