Obituary: Goldie M. Antley, 79, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Mon., 23, 2015 at Seven Rivers Regional Medical , Crystal River, Florida. A native of Chipley, Florida, she was born 4, 1935 to Clarence and Belle (Finch) Taylor, one of four children. Mrs. Antley was a lifelong homemaker and moved to Citrus in 1988 from Panasoffkee, Florida. Goldie held memberships in the American Legion, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Antley, in 2000 and a brother Ray Taylor. She is survived by her two sons: Gerald Scott Antley (wife Linda), Homosassa, Florida and Ronald Antley (wife Maria), Palm Harbor, Florida; brother Jerry Taylor, Southport, Florida and sister Jenell Miller (husband George), Jacksonville, Florida; sister-in-law Noni Taylor, Panama City, Florida; grandchildren Ronny, Bronson, Alexander, Gabrielle, Candace, Melissa and Jason and several great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Sat., 28, 215 from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. at Wilder , Homosassa, Florida, where a funeral service of remembrance will take place at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Ray Herriman officiating. Interment will be private at a later date. |

Obituary: Vincent Peter Antista, known to friends and family as Jim, passed away on 15, 2015 in Tallahassee, Florida. He was born in New York City on 25, 1922 to Antonio Antista and Vicenza Pagano Antista and was one of seven children. He grew up in New York City in Little Italy on Elizabeth Street and spent his youth playing stick ball and working to help his family.He attended parochial school in New York and graduated from technical school. In 1945, he married Florence Quartaro and lived in Hempstead, New York before moving his family to Hollywood, Florida in 1955. A talented machinist, he worked with war industries during World War II. He used his skills as a machinist and sales representative to help build a successful tool and mill supply business in Miami where he worked for over 25 years.He was well known and respected in the machine shops of South Florida helping them make artificial hearts, jet engines and race cars. He helped build two catholic parishes in Hollywood and was a charter member of the Chaminade High School Booster Club and was President for several years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.He lived life under simple principles - love and unwavering devotion for family and community, loyalty to friends and integrity in business. He loved Frank Sinatra, Miami Dolphin football, the New York Yankees, Hollywood Beach, and most of all dancing, with his wife. He retired and lived happily in a retirement community in Ocala, Florida for 17 years.He moved to Tallahassee in 2012 and spent his final years at HarborChase assisted living with his beloved wife. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Florence and children James Vincent Antista of Tallahassee (Marsha), Jane Fruit of Hollywood, Robert Anthony Antista of Charlotte (Penka) and Jennifer Gardner of Tallahassee (John).He is also survived by his brother Frank Antista and sister Angie Perrone. He has eight grandchildren - Angela Taveres; Chris and Lauren Antista; Sarah, Gabrielle and JD Gardner; Alec and Devin Antista and two great grandchildren, Lola and Logan Tavares. Obituary: Florence a Antista, age 93, known to her friends as Florie, passed away on 5, 2016 in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on 22, 1922 to Aurelio Quartararo and Giovanna Del'Amore and was the oldest of four children. She attended parochial and art schools in New York City. During World War II, she served her country by working in defense industries. In 1945, she married Vincent Peter Antista (Jim) and lived in Hempstead, New York before moving with her family to Hollywood, Florida in 1955. She was a woman of many talents - art, music, cooking and providing a loving and lively home for her family. Her home was always the center of activity for her family. She loved entertaining and would play accordion and organ at family gatherings. As with her husband, she lived life under simple principles - love and unwavering devotion for family, friends and community. She always put her family before herself. She was a tireless volunteer for school and church and brought an infectious enthusiasm to every project. For a while, to help make ends meet for her young family in Hollywood, she worked as an artist, painting beach scenes on sea shells and dinner ware. She loved dancing with her husband and was a devoted wife for 71 years. When her husband retired, they lived happily in Ocala, Florida for 17 years. She finally had enough time to paint and her art adorns the walls of family and friends. She moved to Tallahassee in 2012 and spent her final years at Harbor Chase assisted living with her beloved husband who Jim passed away in , 2015. She is survived by her children - James Vincent Antista of Tallahassee (Marsha), Jane Fruit of Hollywood, Robert Anthony Antista of Charlotte (Penka) and Jennifer Gardner of Tallahassee (John). She is also survived by her brother Martin Quartaro. She has eight grandchildren - Angela Taveres; Chris and Lauren Antista; Sarah, Gabrielle and JD Gardner; Alec and Devin Antista and two great-grandchildren, Lola and Logan Tavares. Obituary: Marisa Antisen was adored by everyone and was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Peter and their three children; Mathew and his wife Joy, Tiffany, and Kristina and her husband Adam. Marisa was born in Piacenza, Italy where she lived with her parents Adele and Victor and her brother Dominic. Her dad was living in the US and in May of 1954 saved enough money to get them on the SS Christopher Columbus bound for New York City. She grew up near Little Italy and later the family moved to Flushing, Queens, NY. It was there that she met a handsome young boy living across the street named Peter. dating for seven years, they got married in 1979. Shortly after they moved to Florida to start a family. bought a house and before they knew it, they made it a home to their three beautiful children. Marisa worked at Mercury Insurance for over 20 years and was appreciated for her vibrant attitude, work ethic and of course her Italian dishes. Marisa put up a great fight and battled so hard to be with all of us as long as she could. The entire family thanks all of you for your love and support.
