Obituary: Asako Jackie Pittman, 79, of Fort Smith, died 17, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born 21, 1935 in Fukuoka, Japan to Kansuke and Sayo Tantaka Suzuki. She was a retired employee of the Whirlpool Corporation, and member of the Arkansas Military Association, the DAV and VFW. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce and husband Kenneth Selby of Fort Smith, and Shannon Pittman of Barling, AR; one son, John and wife Beth Pittman of Bentonville, AR; two sisters, Taeko Burns of Yantis, TX and Yaeko Tatumi and husband Tadahko of Fukuoka, Japan; one brother, Aiko Suzuki of Fukuoka, Japan; five grandchildren, Eric Selby and wife Amber, Keena Bryant and husband Robbie, Jennifer Pittman, Kate Pittman, and Luke Pittman; and nine great grandchildren, Dakota Bryant, Pierson Bryant, Jaxon Bryant, Keeton Bryant, Hudson Bryant, Jesse Watts, Paxton Selby, Connor Selby, and Baby Selby. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Donald Pittman and brother, Kenzo Suzuki. In Celebration of her life the family will greet friends at Edwards on , 21, 2014 from 4-6 PM. The body may be viewed beginning , 20, 2014 through 21, 2014 Cremation will follow the family visitation and burial will be at a later date in the U.S. National all under the direction of Edwards . Obituary: Ronald Pitchford of Hartford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on , 17, 2010 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Hartford 12, 1929 and lived there his entire life. He was a member of the Hartford First Baptist Church, a livestock dealer, and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Ronald was an avid Hartford Hustler fan and will be greatly missed by all. Ronald was preceded in death by two sisters, Madeline (Bakey) Paxson and Francis Jones, and three brothers, James G., Leon, and John Pitchford. services will be at 11:00 A.M. , 22, 2010 at the Hartford First Baptist Church with interment at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell of Greenwood. He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Kralicek and Alisia Scallions, both of Fort Smith and Nancy Mixon of Hartford, and their mother, Irene Pitchford of Fort Smith; and a fourth daughter, Katie Pitchford of Hartford; one sister, Mary Barnes of Burkburnett, TX; a brother, Wendell Pitchford of Hartford; four grandchildren, Randa Russel and her husband, Steven, Garrett and Kayla Mixon and McKale Scallions; and three great grandchildren, Kyler, Levi, and Allison Russell. Pallbearers will be Harry Padgett, Bob Rosso, Carl Hoopengarner, Ted Pickle, Bud Glidewell, and Terry Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
