Obituary: Don Glen Zachary passed away at his home on 16, 2015. He was born to Jonell Stroud and Grady Glen Zachary on 9, 1955 in Austin, Texas. Mr. Zachary graduated from John H. Reagan High School in Austin, Texas. his High School graduation Don joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably for 8 Years in the Marine Corps Reserve. In 1989 Don moved his family to Austin to pursue a career as a police officer. He was a Williamson Deputy Sheriff for 16 years before transferring to the Williamson Constables office Pct. 2 in 2013, where he was scheduled to retire in 2015. During his time as a police officer he earned two Associates Degrees in Criminal Justice and General Studies. When he wasn working his normal shift he volunteered to patrol the neighborhood he lived in. He was active in the Austin powerlifting community where he set multiple State, National, and World records. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Dee Zachary; his son, Travis Zachary and wife Stephanie; his daughter Adrienne Canales and husband Joshua (all of Austin); his grandchildren, Julian, Grayson, and soon to be born Ava; along with countless friends and coworkers. A Memorial Service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks in Pflugerville on , 21st at 10:00am. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. , Bluebonnet Hills . Carl was born in Hollis, Oklahoma., to Ray and Beulah Zachary. He had a brother, Don, and a sister, Regina. He spent his formative years in Oklahoma, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after finishing high school. He served in Korea with H/3/1, H, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and was part of the battle at the Chosin Reservoir. Upon his return, he married Donna Haness on Nov. 11, 1951. He spent 30 years in the Marine Corps Reserve, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. serving in Korea, Carl graduated from Central State and then moved with his family to Fort Worth to work for the IRS, retiring after 30 years. Carl moved to Haltom City in 1962 where he was a member and later a deacon at Haltom Road Baptist Church. He was very involved in all activities of the church. Carl was predeceased by his parents; his siblings; and Donna, his wife of 60 years. Survivors: Children, Theresa Robinson and her husband, Phil, son, David Zachary and his wife, Shanon, daughter, Janet Hill and her husband, Charlie; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. |

Obituary: Rosa Lee Zacharias of Oglesby died afternoon, 16, 2011, at the age of 79. services will be 2:00 P.M. , 21, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Walter Klockers officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Memorial Park, under the direction of Cole , 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. at Cole . Mrs. Zacharias was born 15, 1931, in Coryell City, Texas the daughter of the late Otto and Minnie (Rodenbeck) Richter. She begin her education in Coryell City and was salutatorian of her 1949 graduating class of Gatesville High School. She continued her education at a business school in Dallas. She returned to the area and began working at the National bank in Gatesville for a few years. On 18, 1951, she married Daniel Otto Donnie Zacharias at St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City. forty-eight years of marriage, he preceded her in death on 28, 2000. From 1965 to 1970, she was employed by Farmland Co-op in Gatesville. In 1970, she returned to the National Bank as a teller and retired in 1997 after being employed in customer service. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Naomi Circle and held various offices as well as president. She enjoyed volunteering at Coryell Memorial Hospital, cooking, playing dominoes and supporting her grandchildren with their sporting events and school activities. Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Janie Leos; a sister, Ella Richter; two brothers, Lonnie Richter, Herman Richter; three grandchildren, Mathew, Mark and Mary Elizabeth. Survivors include, a son Kyle Don Zacharias and wife Sherri of West; two daughters, Darlene Arp and husband Terry, Regenia Arseneaux and husband Kerry both of McGregor; nine grandchildren, Lanie Martinez and husband Nieves, Danny Wehrmann, Robert Wehrmann, Travis Arp, Amber Arseneaux, Tyler Arp, Kristy Arseneaux, Richard Zacharias and Rachael Zacharias; a son-in-law, Manuel Leos and numerous step-grandchildren For those desiring, the family has suggested Zion Lutheran Church, 503 S. Obituary: Paul F. Zacharias passed away 4, 2013. He was born 13, 1933 in Flushing Long Island, New York to Fred and Hannah Zacharias. Paul grew up in Bridgeport, CT. He was a graduate from Valparaiso University with a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering. Paul his wife and children moved to Grand Prairie, TX in 1962. In 1993 Paul retired from Lockheed Martin. In retirement he enjoyed many different activities. He liked to travel, exploring Texas and Oklahoma mainly but he did have the chance to visit Colorado which he loved and always hoped to revisit. Museums were also a fond past time. Viewing all the different exhibits and discussing them with his wife. Obituary: Emily Morgan Zacharias Emily Morgan Zacharias, 20, passed away 11, 2004. She was born 26, 1984, the daughter of Roxan Coffman and Jim Zacharias, both of Austin. Emily attended Casis Elementary School, O Henry Middle School, Stephen F. Austin High School and Austin Community . She was preceded in death by her grandfather Orian C. Westbrook, her grandparents Marge and Otto Zacharias, and her sister Katy Coffman. Emily is survived by her mother, Roxan Coffman; her father and stepmother, Jim and Sharon Zacharias; her brothers, Gray Zacharias and Thomas Coffman, Jr.; and her aunt and uncle, Eilene and Rod Langford, all of Austin. She is also survived by her grandmother, Shirley Westbrook and family friend, Burney Hebinck, of Houston; her grandfather, A. C. Langford, and his wife, Jessie of Porter, Texas; her step-grandmother, Martha Zacharias of Station, Texas; and two aunts, two uncles, and numerous cousins.
