Obituary: Juanita M. Zwiebel, age 86 of Lima, died at 5:45 p.m., , 30, 2014 at Auglaize Acres . She was born 17, 1928 in Lima, Ohio; the daughter of the late Hollis W. and Edith B. Law Clark. On 11, 1949 she married Everett B. Bud Zwiebel, who died 16, 2003. Mrs. Zwiebel was a homemaker and had worked as a beautician with Saums Beauty Shop in Lima. She was a former member of the Rousculp Church of Christ, a 1946 graduate of Shawnee High School and a 1947 graduate of Fredericks Beauty Academy. Survivors include a son – James (Cindy) Zwiebel of Wapakoneta; 2 grandchildren – Niki Oren of Botkins and Jeremy (Renee) Zwiebel of Wapakoneta; 5 great grandchildren – Caleb Oren, Makayla Zwiebel, Isaac Oren, Isabelle Oren, and Jared Zwiebel. She was preceded in death by a sister – Leona Ruth Clark. Memorial services will begin 2:00 p.m., , 5, 2015 at the First English Lutheran Church, in Wapakoneta. Rev. Neil Brady will officiate. Obituary: Ivan Eugene Zwiebel, 89, of rural Wapakoneta, went home to be with the Lord on , 22, 2017, at 11:10 a.m., at Auglaize Acres. He was born 13, 1928, in Santa Fe, Ohio, the son of Albert S. and Frieda M. (Wildermuth) Zwiebel who preceded him in death. On 14, 1955, he married Velma L. Helmlinger and she survives. He is survived by his children Gustave Zwiebel, Craig (Vicki) Zwiebel both of Wapakoneta, and Christina (Fred) Bodenmiller of Jackson . He is also survived by his grandchildren Colin (Meghan) Zwiebel of Ft. Wayne, IN, Tanner and Keaton Zwiebel both of Wapakoneta, Tiffany (fiancé Alex Miller) Bodenmiller of Sidney, Stefanie (Amir) Amiruzzaman of Kent, and Seth (Logan) Bodenmiller of DeGraff, and one great-grandson Aleo Amiruzzaman; a brother, Marvin (Jeannine) Zwiebel of Wapakoneta; sisters-in-law Clea Anna Helmlinger and Bernice Ruck, both of Wapakoneta; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ivan was preceded in death by brothers, Albert “Junior” Zwiebel and Leonard “Bill” Zwiebel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Roger and Ethel Elsass; brothers-in-law Roger Helmlinger and Nelson Ruck. Ivan graduated from Jackson High School Class of 1945. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952 with the 101st Infantry, spending 18 months in Okinawa during the Korean Conflict. Ivan worked at G.A. Wintzer & Son Co. in Wapakoneta for 34 years and farmed. He was a member of the Jackson American Legion for 64 years. Ivan was a founding member of Christ The King Church in Jackson . He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed his children and grandchildren. All who loved Ivan will truly miss him. services will begin at 10:30 a.m. , 27, 2017 at Christ The King Church with Pastor Philip Wethington officiating. Burial will follow at Glen in Port Jefferson with military rites being performed by V.F.W. Post 8445. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. , 26, 2017 at Schlosser & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Obituary: Gladys T. Zwiebel, 85, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 7:02 p.m. , May 20, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical , Lima. She was born on 22, 1931 in Fryburg, OH to Eamer R. & Norma K. (Eisert) Ruppert who preceded her in death. On 6, 1949 she married Punk Zwiebel and he passed away on 6, 2008. Survivors include three children, David (Marlene) Zwiebel, Becky (Glen) Walker, Barb Zwiebel all of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren, Greg (Deanna) Walker, Dan (Lori) Walker both of Wapakoneta, Julia (Steve) Curtis of MI, Amy (Matt) Gill of Uniopolis, Thomas Zwiebel of MI, Jenna (David) Junkins, Erica (Eric) Payne both of Wapakoneta; nine great-grandchildren, Emma Walker, Justin Walker, Elliana Pina, Piper Payne, Josephine Gill, Charleigh Gill, Keaton Walker, Jacob Payne, Kaden Junkins; a sister, Betty Johnson; four sister-in-laws, Shirley (Irvin) Totten, Susie Mansfield, Patty Ruppert and Eloise Ruppert. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Whitey and Dale Ruppert. Gladys was a homemaker and a fireman’s wife. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Most of all she loved her family. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. , May 26, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schlosser & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
