Obituary: Jason Michael Ziegler of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on 15, 2014 at his residence having reached the age of forty two years, five months and twenty seven days. He was born on 19, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to Edward Ziegler and Beverly (Scribner) Ziegler. Jason is survived by his parents Ed Ziegler and Beverly Ziegler of Mineral Point; son Jason Whaley and wife Amber of Park Hills; two daughters Brittany Whaley of Park Hills, Erica Whaley of Park Hills; one brother Brian Ziegler and wife Lisa of Burnsmills, Missouri; one granddaughter Ashton Whaley of Park Hills; two nephews Zach and Dylan Ziegler; two nieces Alissa and Samantha Ziegler; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. A memorial service was conducted on , 19, 2014 at 6 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Obituary: SIKESTON - Rebecca Anne Becky Ziegenhorn passed away 2, 2014, at Clearview after an extended illness. She was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Sikeston to Ruth Anne Collins Ziegenhorn and the late Arthur B. Ziegenhorn. Becky was the granddaughter of the late Charles and Minnie Ziegenhorn and the late F.F. and Fleta Collins. Becky graduated from Sikeston High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University and later Graceland in Lamoni, Iowa. She worked for the Division of Family Services in Portageville and Washington, Mo., before moving to Springfield. Later she left DFS to pursue working with electrolysis clients. Eventually she also became a Merle Norman consultant and later, the owner of her own jewelry business. Through the years Becky continued with her love of plants, eventually having a home built with its own greenhouse. There she raised many different plants including tropical varieties, especially bromeliads. She also enjoyed breeding, raising and showing Lhasa Apsos. Survivors in addition to her mother include: a sister, Cindy Waldron of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a brother, David (Sue) Ziegenhorn of Sikeston; two nieces, Beth Ziegenhorn of Oxford, Miss., and Melissa (John) Sheppard of Lake Worth, Fla.; three nephews, Charlie Ziegenhorn of Sikeston, Mark (Nicki) DePauw of Delray Beach, Fla., and Justin Waldron (Maria Saraceni) of Lake Worth; a great-niece, Madison Depauw, and a great-nephew, Alex DePauw, both of Delray Beach; and two aunts, Barbara Ziegenhorn and Nadine Collins of Sikeston. Also surviving are cousins: Dennis (Karen) Ziegenhorn, Mike (Susie) Ziegenhorn, Donald (Marian) Pratt, Harry (Vicki) Pratt, Charles (Sue) Pratt, Mike (Anita) Collins, Joanie Kruger, Randy (Kathy) Collins and Debbie Collins, all of Sikeston; Patty Ziegenhorn of Atlanta; Wayne (Carol) Collins of Jefferson City, Mo.; Carolyn (Jim) Fitch of Brentwood, Tenn.; Jim Crenshaw of Nashville, Tenn; and Joe Crenshaw of Tampa, Fla. Visitation will be at the Nunnelee Chapel from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Randy Cook of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories .
