Obituary: Deborah K. Zyznieuski, 58, of Springfield, passed away on , 27, 2012 at Sunset Rehabilitation and Facility in Canton, IL. She was born on 2, 1954 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Charle) Nixon. She married Walt Zyznieuski in Quincy, IL, in 1988 and he survives. Deb was a teacher in the Riverton, IL School District for 25 years. She was listed in Whos Who Among Americas Teachers, was a St. Louis Cardinals and University of Illinois fan, loved traveling to Florida, movies, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She loved life and was always willing to help anyone with any issues. She was also active at Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield, including Ladies Weekly Bible Study. She was a dedicated teacher, wife, and mother. Deb also volunteered as a Room Mother at Washington Park Pre-School, Lindsay Elementary School, and Grant Middle School. Besides her husband Walt, Deb is survived by 2 sons, Nicholas Zyznieuski currently studying in Edwardsville, IL, and Douglas Zyznieuski of Springfield, a brother Greg (wife eta) Nixon of Quincy, IL, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbors and many close friends she made throughout her teaching career. Services are under the direction of Bisch West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield, where visitation will be held on , 2, 2012 from 4 to 7 pm. services will be held on , 3, 2012 at 10 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Aaron D. Schnelle officiating. Cremation rites will follow. Memorials may be made to Deborahs family. Obituary: Bloomington - Lillian G. Zywiec, 90, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:35 p.m. on , 2, 2015 at Martin in Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded. Her memorial mass will be held at St. James the Less Catholic Church in Highland Indiana on 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial in Bloomington is assisting the family with local arrangements. Inurnment will follow in St. John/St. Joseph Catholic in Hammond, IN. Lillian was born on 10, 1924 in East Chicago, IN, a daughter to Vincent and Teresa Wolownik Sidor. She married Albin C. Zywiec on 31, 1946 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on 22, 1999. A devout Roman Catholic, Lillian was a member of St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington, IL having previously been a member of St. Bedes Church in Montgomery, AL, St. James the Less Church in Highland, IN and was a long time member of Assumption Church in East Chicago IN. Surviving are children, Bishop David A. Zywiec O.F.M. CAP, of Bluefields, Nicaragua, Sheila M. (Donnell) Geib of Watertown, WI, Dr. Daria J. (Louis) Anagnos of Montgomery, AL, Bruce S. (Dawn) Zywiec of Bloomington, IL, Polly A. (Dan Selden) Zywiec of Eldorado Hills, CA; Eleven grandchildren: Sean Geib, Audrey Clare, Nicholas Geib, Bernadette Brown, Teresa Loepfe, Sarah Zywiec, Atlas Anagnos, Kira Selden, Alexa Selden, Cyrena Selden and Christian Selden; Ten great grandchildren: Sidor, Aurora, Talulla and Esme Clare, Simon, Obadiah and Esther Geib, Ignatius and Gus Loepfe, and George Anagnos. Lillian volunteered as a Pink Lady at St. Catherines Hospital in East Chicago, IN. She loved to knit, crochet, and work on puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers; two sisters; and a grandson, Bartholomew Geib.
