Obituary: Beryl Cristadoro Zeigler died in Christ on 5, 2015. She was born in New Orleans 17, 1924, baptized at Holy Rosary, attended and was later married at Saint Mary of the Angels. Since moving to Pensacola in 1979, Beryl was active with the Holy Spirit Council of Catholic Women and served as president of HSCCW and SW Deanery and Community Concerns Chair. Since 1958 Beryl served as a Red Cross volunteer at Ramey Air Force base and at Pensacola Naval Air. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Camille Degelos Cristadoro; brother, General Maurice A. Cristadoro; sister, Nydia Cristadoro Hemelt. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, John William Zeigler; her daughter Marie Elaine Mann; grandson Chad T. Ylhainen, and great grandchildren Jacob, Joshua and Elizabeth Ylhainen. She was lovingly cared for by her nieces, Jill A. Hudson and Dorice C. Zeier, and Emerald Coast Hospice. Services will be held , 8, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rosary at 10:30 AM, Mass at 11:00 AM, followed by Burial at Barrancas National at noon. Reception will follow at Holy Spirit. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Red Cross or to Saint Vincent de Paul. |
