Born in Oakville, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Cameron) Marshall. Robin is survived by her devoted children, Andrew J. Young and his wife Jennifer Young of Franklin, MA and Heather B. Young of Scituate. Proud grandmother (Mimia) of Madison and Mackenzie Young of Franklin. Beloved twin sister of Thomas C. Marshall and his wife Patricia of Toronto, Canada. Dear sister-in-law of Barbara Calnan of Eastham, Ron and Jan Young, brother-in-law and sister-in-law of VT. Cherished Aunt to Deb Lutz, Pam Ryan, Sean Calnan, Brian Calnan, Jennifer Lopes, Christopher Marshall, and Sarah Boone. Obituary: Ralph Bud Frederick Young, Jr., of South Burlington died on , 9, 2016 after a long illness. He was 82. Ralph was born on 12, 1933 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ralph Frederick Young, Sr. and of the late Catherine Rodgers Young. He is predeceased by his brother James R. Young of Frederick, Maryland, and is survived by his sister, Dolores Jean Klawitru, now living in Michigan. graduating from Vandergrift High School in 1951 he joined the US Navy and served in Japan during the Korean War as an air traffic controller and was honorably discharged in 1961. While in the Navy he married Shirley Jonason of Weymouth, Massachusetts in 1955; they divorced in 1974. had one son, Mark Jonason Young. finishing his Navy tour at the South Weymouth Naval Air Station, Ralph and his family lived in Abington and then Marshfield, Massachusetts, while he worked as an air traffic controller at Bostons Logan Airport. In 1974, he transferred to Burlington Airport in South Burlington, Vermont in 1974 where he retired from the FAA in 1983 after more than 30 years of continuous service. In his retirement, he became a real estate agent for Jack Associates in South Burlington and often spent winters on Pine Island in Florida where he loved to go shelling, He also enjoyed football and hunting with His longtime friend and fellow Cair traffic controller, Raymond Verville, of Burlington, Vt. Ralph was a member of the VFW in Burlington, Vermont and of the American Legion in Bristol, Vermont. Ralph is survived by his son Mark and his wife Laurie, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, a grandson Corey Young and a granddaughter Vanessa Young and two great grandchildren. Ralph Young will be remembered by his local friends as a regular at The Rotisserie Restaurant in South Burlington, where they met for lunch. Ralph spent the last months of his life at the Arbors of Shelburne, Vermont. A memorial service final committal is planned for the near future at the Vermont Veterans in Randolph, Vermont. Obituary: Judith “Judy” (Egbert) Young, Of South Burlington, died , 8th in her residence after a lengthy illness. She was 80. Born in Lackawanna, New York, she was daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Buckley) Egbert. Mrs. Young graduated from the University of Vermont with the Class of 1958. A registered dietician, Mrs. Young had been employed for many years at the Burlington Convalescent . She later worked at Fanny Allen Hospital. Mrs. Young took great pride in her grandchildren and loved to attend her grandson’s sporting and school events and was his loudest cheerleader. She adored her five dogs that she cared for over the years; Peanut, Cinder, Buckwheat, Alex and Molly. Mrs. Young was predeceased by her husband, James M. Young in 1990 and was the sister of the late Mary Ellen Brady. She is survived by her children Valerie J. Masterpole and her husband Mark of Richmond and Douglas J. Young and his wife Carrie of Stoneham, MA, her grandchildren Jason M. Young, Kevin D. Young and Michael J. Young and her niece Mary Colleen Rosenthal and nephew John Nixon. Visitation will be at Ready and Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Sherburne Road, Burlington, on from 11 am. - 12 pm. with a Service in Celebration of her Life beginning at Noon.
