Obituary: Hosie was born in Oakwood, Tx on May 22, 1929 to the parents of Prince "Duke" and Rachel Moning. She attended Dunbar High School in Oakwood, Texas where she met Junie Lee Young. To this union three children were born. She worked at Baylor Hospital in the nursing field from the beginning of her career until she retired after 27 years. She attended Dallas West Church of Christ until she moved to the Oak Cliff area where she was a member of Cliff View Church of Christ. Receding her in death are 3 brothers: Fred, John L., and Cliffton in addition to 3 sisters: Lonnie Daniels, Elise Burr, and Essie Wilson. She leaves to cherish in her memory 3 sons: Dennis (Lesa), Gregory (Donna), and Gary as well as 4 sisters: a Glenn, Ora L Johnson (A.B.), Laurine White, and Rachel Green (Roscoe). She had 3 grandchildren: Forest Young (New York), Justin Hawkins Young (Las Vegas), Tamara Johnson (Dallas) as well as one Great Grand Child Olivia Jhene'Hawkins Young, and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends. |

Hope was born on 17, 1924 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Carroll and Evelyn Mercer. Hope married Robert Harold Young in 1955. resided in Wichita Falls for over 50 years. Both Hope and Harold were members of Floral Heights United Methodist Church. were members of the Anniversary School class there. Together, they enjoyed family camping trips to Colorado with the Anniversary class. loved the outdoors. Hope was active in the Food pantry at church. She was the sweetest lady in the world. People often referred to her as Aunt Bee from The Andy Griffith Show; she was a very loving individual. Hope is preceded in death by her husband; Robert Harold Young, in 1991, and one brother; Carroll Bud Mercer. Obituary: Herman Loran Young, age 87, of Deer Park, Texas passed away 13, 2010. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Edna Bailey Young. Son Mark Young and wife Belinda of Houston and daughter Georgine Garbarini and husband Mike of The Woodlands also survive him. Herman leaves four grandsons- Benjamin, Mason and Matthew Young and Tony Garbarini, and one granddaughter- Caroline Young. Herman was preceded in death by grandson Brian Garbarini and brother Marvin Young. Herman was born 17, 1922 in Hurst Springs (Coryell ) Texas to the late George and Nora Young. He lived his early years in Mosheim, Texas, and graduated from Mosheim High School. He moved to Houston to find work, and joined the U.S. Army Air Force in 1942. He served in the Pacific Theater of WWII. He was proud of his time serving our country, and we will miss his stories of Iwo Jima. Herman was a retired member of the Local 211 Pipefitters Union, and a long time member of Peace Lutheran (previously Sharon Lutheran) church in Pasadena. Visitation will be at Grand View , 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena from 5:00 to 8:00 PM , , 17, 2010. A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church at 10:00 AM , 18, 2010. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Peace Lutheran Church, 6435 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX, 77505. The church phone is (281) 998-0965.
