Obituary: Robert Young, 74, went home morning, 28. His loving wife, eight children and 27 grandchildren gathered by his side to tell him goodbye- but only for now. Thanks to his faithful devotion to Jesus Christ, he made it his top priority to ensure we would all celebrate with him again one day in heaven. He was an incredible man who led by example and loved unconditionally. His kids respected his character and his grandkids admired his giving heart. He loved playing golf, served his country in the army, drove a bus at Forest Rose and retired from the post office. But his true passion was his family- his wife of 55 years, Esther Young and his children Kandy Barr, Zach, Kaylee, Alexa; Kathy Burge (John) Chase, Chelsea, Chad; Bob Young Jr (Melissa) Breen, Ashley, Sarah; Konny Wilson (Norm) Jason Karns, Jerrid Karns, Kortney Schaeffer, Michael, Kelsey, Sydney, Lesley; Ronny Young (Suzanne) Collin, Olivia, Merideth, Curtis; Kristi Thompson (Cory) Audri, Taylor, Ali; Kelly Young (Kristin) Rachel, Noah, Rebekah; Rod Young (Angie) Will, Vada, Barrett. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Patti Highlander, Jeanie Young and Cindy Young. Dad, we could never thank you enough for your love, patience and influence. Your grandkids will always remember you playing with them and leading them in prayer. We could never thank you enough, but thankfully Jesus can. Well done my good and faithful servant. A celebration of life will be held , 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor Mark Barbee officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove , Lancaster where the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail will conduct graveside rites. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer . In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his Aunt Bun. He is survived by his sisters, Betty Lou Young and Lois House of Greenville; niece, Angela (Kevin) Beumer of Greenville; nephew, Ronnie (Karla) House of Albany, Indiana; great niece, Tiffany Beumer of Greenville; Aunt, Ruby Young and family of Ft. Recovery, Ohio. There will be a service held on , 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey , Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Lowell Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove , Ft. Jefferson, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to express there deepest appreciation to the family and friends at Rest Haven for the wonderful care for Bob. Obituary: Young, Rita Marie, age 92, of Riverside, passed away peacefully on , 24, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Dayton, OH on 28, 1922, to Vincent and Ruby (Whitesell) Wahrer, who preceded her in death. Rita was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, whom she married on 31, 1948, Ramon Orville Young on 25, 2011. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who strove to give the best love and care to her family. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Reverend Ken and wife, Kathy Young, Dr. Dan Young and wife, Sally Sackett, Mark and wife, Teri Young; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bernard Wahrer, Jim and wife, Mary Wahrer; four grandchildren, Heidi and husband, Jim Hamburg, Janelle and husband, David Ord, Matthew and wife, Kartika Young, Nathan Young. Rita is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Hillside Chapel in Beavercreek, and was a former Boy Scout Leader, school nurse and worked as a Daycare Associate. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Ritas close neighbors for their love and care which enabled her to remain in her home. services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on , 30, 2014, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road.
