Obituary: Robert Paul Yamin, 70, of Van Buren, passed away , 9, 2016 at his home. He was born 19, 1945 in Fort Smith to the late Louis and Isobel Yamin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Christopher Graham, and Kevin Graham. He is survived by a sister, Becky Graham of Fort Smith; a nephew, Mark Graham; numerous nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Sam Newton, and Sharon and Darrell Bishop. Obituary: Jim Yackley, 65, of Searcy, passed away on 4, 2014 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Claudia; his children, Jennifer and Brian; and his brother Tom (Claire). He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ruth Yackley. Jim entered the U.S. Army in 1971 as a 2nd Lt. and served until his retirement in 1991 as a Major. He lived his life traveling the world as a Navy dependent and an Army officer. He combined his love of travel with his love of hunting and fishing during his retirement in places like Africa, New Zealand, and Argentina. Visitation and memorial services will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on , 9 at the Powell of Searcy. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church of Searcy. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Powell of Searcy. |
