Obituary: Phyllis E. Yeaton, 83, beloved wife of Frederick W. Yeaton, passed away peacefully on 25, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born on 12, 1931 in Lynn, MA, the daughter of Lillian (Lavin) and Everett Watson. She attended English High School in Lynn and married Frederick W. Yeaton on 31, 1952. and their four children subsequently relocated to New Hampshire and ultimately settled in the Nashua area. In 1988 they moved to Palm Bay, FL area where they enjoyed making new friends and the warm weather. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends in , 2002. Shortly after Fred died in 2003, Phyllis moved to the DYouville Senior in Lowell, MA. When not reading true crime novels or playing bingo, Phyllis was active in and President of the Red Hat Society at DYouville and a representative of the nursing home residents on the DYouville Presidents Council. Many of the staff fondly remember how she entertained everyone with her witty remarks, and they will miss her. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to DYouville and more recently, New England Hospice, for the loving care they provided to her over the past 11 years. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Pam Morin and her husband, Mike, of Londonderry, NH; her son Paul Yeaton and his wife, Denise, of North Hampton, NH; her son Peter Yeaton and his wife, Rev, of North, SC; her daughter, Holly Courtemanche and her husband, Brian, of Dracut, MA; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, mother and father, Phyllis was predeceased by her brother, Chester Watson and his wife, Rose, of Falmouth, MA. Although our family is heartbroken by our loss, Phyllis endured many serious illnesses throughout her life, and we take comfort in knowing that she is in a better place and reunited with those who have gone before her. There will be no calling hours, however, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on , 1 at Saint John XXIII Church in Nashua, NH at 10 am. Obituary: CHATHAM -- Franklin Roosevelt Yeager passed away in the company of his daughter Lisa Mitten at Liberty Commons, Chatham, on 1 May 2016. Frank had been convalescing at Liberty Commons since early 2015 following a fall in his home in West Chatham. He was 82, and had struggled with Parkinson's Disease since 2010. Frank was born in 1934 in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, the youngest of three children of Robert Yeager and Edith (McClintock) Yeager. He was a 1952 graduate of Pitcairn High School, where he was class president and a star basketball player. He married the late Barbara Keller in 1955. Frank and Barbara spent summers on Cape Cod, and as their family grew to include two daughters and a son, those summer vacations became a beloved family tradition: playing touch football and flying kites on East Sandwich beach while staying at Lighthouse Cottages; antiquing along 6A; taking the ferry to Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket; going on whale watches, followed by foot-long hotdogs for lunch, in Provincetown; and endless games of miniature golf all over the Cape. Following his 1995 retirement from Westinghouse Air Brake in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, Frank and Barbara moved to the home they had purchased several years earlier in West Chatham. The Yeager home in West Chatham became the site of annual family vacations as the family grew to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Days at Hardings or Ridgevale beaches, Provincetown whale-watches, antiquing, and searching for finds at the Wellfleet flea market kept them busy. The family made a tradition of eating at the Hearth & Kettle restaurant in Orleans (which Frank always insisted on calling the " & Kettle," to everyone's amusement), and Seafood Sam's, where Frank loved the popcorn shrimp. Frank became the primary caregiver for Barbara, who suffered from rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis until her death in 2002. Frank kept busy enjoying beach sunsets, hitting the yard sales and auctions, adding to his collection of blue and white Staffordshire pottery, volunteering at the Chatham Railroad Museum, and attending weekly summer meetings of The Chatham Retired Mens Association, of which he was a member. He became good friends with antique dealer Kathy Fox of Orleans, and spent many mornings with Kathy, Judy, Andy, Beth, and Janet - aka, the "Pie Club" - an exercise group that usually began with the week's gossip and a fresh warm pie from Marion's Pie Shop in Chatham, always provided by Frank. He traveled to Pittsburgh for family visits and high school reunions, and to Arlington, Virginia, and Austin, Texas, to visit family. As the symptoms of Parkinsons progressed, he was cared for by good friend Cheryl Balch and caregivers Mary Amsler, Karen Gardner, Kathleen Morse, Melanie Pacheco, Melissa Pescarelli, Lisa Robbins, and Sharlene Sowers - angels all, who enabled Frank to remain in his home. Franks good friends and neighbors Deirdre Arvidson and family, and Bill and Mary Ann Bly hold a special place in Franks and his familys hearts. Thanks also go to the staff at Liberty Commons, who cared for Frank in his final days. Frank's daughters, Lisa and Leslie, son Frank and wife Kim, grandchildren Jessica, Ben, Jake, and Lilly, and great-granddaughter Ava will miss their wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. There will be no memorial service and burial is private.
