Obituary: John Allen Young, 60, of Owensboro, passed away on , 8, 2012 at his home. He was born on 6, 1952 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Garland and Mary Lou Young. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, his dogs, and U.K. basketball. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters including Henry Young on Sept. 13, 2008. Surviving are his sisters, Valerie (Bobby) Ford and Barbara (James) Boone, all of Owensboro, a brother, Joe (Brenda) Young of Maceo, several nieces and nephews including Charlie Boone, Rebecca Cox, Teresa Green, and Jeremy Young, and several great nieces and nephews. Services will be 12 Noon , 12, in the Chapel at Rosehill with burial following in Elmwood cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. at Glenn and Crematory. www.glennfuneralhome.com.

Obituary: James Randal Young, 57, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away , 16, 2007, in VA Medical in Marion, IL. He was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church, had been a laborer for Owensboro Brick and Tile, loved reading, science fiction movies and all of his nieces and nephews. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Randal and Pauline Morris Young, and his brothers, David Thomas Young and Harvey Alan Young. Survivors include his brothers, Robert D. Young and Virgil Ray Young both of Owensboro, and William E. Young of Union City, TN; his sisters, Nancy Coppage and Martha Faber both of Owensboro, and Virgie Free of Penrod, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1 p.m. at Glenn . Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on and after 10 a.m. on at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brushy Fork .
