Obituary: Linda Sue Young, age 63, of Hanna City, passed away on , 21, 2015 at her home. Linda was born on 8, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Marcus and Edith (Holt) Bowman. Surviving is her fiancé, Robb Morecraft; her daughters, Shannon (Beth) DeWeese of Hanna City, IL and Jennifer DeWeese of Creve Coeur, IL; four grandchildren, Breann DeWeese, Taylor DeWeese, Richard Crique, Jr., and Kaleb Bustle; two brothers, Rodney Bowman of Peoria, IL and Markie Bowman of Peoria, IL; one sister, Pat (Robert) Chandler of Peoria, IL; her nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jax and cat, Sassy. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; and one grandson, Tylor Young. Linda was a fun loving, good heart person, who always willing to help those in need. She was an avid NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon, stock car, Bears and 49ers fan. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafting, gardening, and traveling. Linda was a member of ABATE, the Hanna City Sportsman Club, the LINDA club and the Billy “Crash” Craddock Fan Club. She loved her family and will be deeply missed. Services will be held on , 26, 2015 at 11am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Bob DeBolt will be officiating. Lester and Etta Young. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Lester was a deacon in the Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed fishing, loved working with his hands and spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife, Edna, of 59 years; children, Tom, Jack (Connie), Diane, Bill, Jerry, Rhonda (Rick) Deadmond, Brenda, and Dan; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born 16, 1941 in Tiffin, Ohio, the son of William and Juanita Burress Young. He married Mary Young (Rub) on 4, 1964. Leon is survived by his wife of 52 years; his mother, Juanita Riordan of Joliet; two sons Steve (Karen) Young of Dunlap, Jeff Young of Pekin; one daughter Jennifer (Mark) Hutsell of Peoria; three grandchildren, Abby and Bryce Young and Mary Hutsell; three brothers Garry (Karen) Young of Palos Park, Larry Young of Portage, IN, Ed (Caryn) Young of Crest Hill; two sisters Pat Micetich of Joliet and Bev Young of Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, William Young and his step-father, Chuck Riordan. Leon began his career with Caterpillar on 17, 1959. He worked various positions in Joliet, Pontiac and Peoria. He retired in 2002 after 43 years of service. Leon was a proud Marine Veteran. He served as President of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce in 1981. He loved golf and treasured time with his grandchildren. services will be 10 am , May 5, 2017 at Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be May 4, 2017 from 5-7:00 pm at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton . Father Patrick Henehan will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
