Obituary: Teresa A. Yendrzejowsky, 89 of Mt Prospect was born 8, 1925 to the late Joseph and Mary (nee Schlogl) Dorner and passed away 28, 2015. Teresa was the loving wife of the late Raymond Yendrzejowsky; devoted mother of Michael (Joanne) Yendrzejowsky and Paula (Dr. Scott) Tomasik; cherished grandmother of Mary and Michael Tomasik and Raymond and Christopher Yendrzejowsky; dear sister of late Lorraine (late Andrew) Dorner; caring sister-in- law of the late Walter Yendrzejowsky; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 31, 2015 from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler , 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL. Prayers will be said , 1 at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and proceed to St. Zachary Church, 567 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, IL for a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in All Saints . Obituary: Rockford, Il. Andrew Yencsik, 93, was welcomed into heaven on 24, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born 8, 1921 in Ottumwa, Iowa. Andrew was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He married Ruth Allen and shared 68 years . Andy was a Master Chef; he owned and operated Andys Sizzling Steak House on South Main St. in Rockford. He and Ruth enjoyed traveling all over, and sampling many of the fine dining restaurants. Gardening was another passion he shared with his son, Steve, he enjoyed showcasing his flowers and vegetables. His gardening passion lend to opening Andys Tree Service. The family is going to miss the tasty steak and lobster dinners he so proudly prepared for them. Survivors: wife, Ruth; children, Steve, Connie (Terry) Evans, and Lorraine; grandchildren; Mark Evans and Tonya (Steve) Bidwell; great-grandchildren; Brock, Brayden and Bella; sister, Mary (Pete) Rich; brother, Joe Yencsik; host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; siblings, John, George and Margaret. The family extends their gratitude to the caring staff of Hospice of America. Services: 2:00 p.m. on , 27 at Sunset 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Obituary: Mary Evalyne Yencho, age 96, of Granite City, IL, passed away on , May 26, 2015 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL. Evalyne was born on 7, 1918 in TN, a daughter to the late Marvin and Clara (Gatlin) Nolin. On 25, 1959, Evalyne Nolin married Edward A. Yencho, the love of her life. Edward passed away on 25, 2002. Evalyne attended and was very active at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City, IL; she had volunteer leadership roles in church events such as the annual church picnic. Evalyne had graduated from Harriet Stowe Business in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Phi Tau Omega Sorority. Evalyne had worked for Westinghouse Corporation in St. Louis, MO as an executive secretary until her marriage. Later she worked for John Crochran VA Medical in St. Louis, MO as the secretary to the chief of Staff. Evalyne was a volunteer in the gift shop and member the Womens Sodality at Gateway Medical in Granite City, IL. Evalyne loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved and was dedicated to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents and husband, Evalyne was preceded in death by three sisters, Mayola Brewer, Majoria Stevenson and Maxine Schneider. She is survived by her loving sons, Dr. Michael E. (Karen) Yencho of Vernon, CT and Dr. Stephen A. Yencho of Plano, TX; proud grandmother to Jennifer A. Yencho of Glastonbury, CT, Samuel E. Yencho, Nolan M. Yencho and Luke S. Yencho all of Vernon, CT; dear sister, Carolyn McEvers of Ocoee, FL; extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on , May 29, 2015 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road, Granite City, IL. In celebration of her life, funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on , May 30, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Chris Comerford officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
