Obituary: Mr. Cecil H. Wright, Jr., age 59, departed this life 24, 2015, at the Genesis . Cecil was preceded in death by his loving siblings: sister, Stacia C. Wright and brother, Kevin L. Wright. Beloved son of Mr. Cecil H. Wright, Sr. and Mrs. Priscilla Wright; loving brother of Denette Clark, Darryl Wright, Toni Wright-Jones, and Lauretta Dorsey. Cecil attended Harlan Elementary School and graduated from P. S. DuPont High School in 1974. During his high school years, he was a social bug, who enjoyed sports, playing football, and was one of many who gathered at the P. S. DuPont SOUL DOOR. You had to be a Dynamiter to relate. Upon graduation, Cecil became employed with the State of Delaware, landing a custodian job with the school system. He loved his music, the drums to be specific. In his early years, he took drum lessons. He played wherever he could, mostly in the basement of his home - and he was quite good. He enjoyed listening to all types of music, but topping the list was oldies; however, he also liked jazz. Cecil enjoyed music so much that he would choose listening to it rather than watching television. Cecial had an undeniable and protective love for his family, especially his mother and father. He was a caring and loving person, who in his later years found peace in the church and became a member of The Resurrection . He went to church every ; most times attended both services. He became an Usher and was so proud, he would show off his badge. So proud, that he would summon any and every one to take a picture of him in his suit and wearing his Ushers badge. He enjoyed helping others, especially seniors whom he befriended. He would sit for hours talking and laughing with them, doing small jobs or running errands. Early to rise, he would be up preparing for church and before the day was done, he would visit with a senior. He loved to dress and would be decked out, cleaner than the board of health - to use some of those familiar slangs. Cecil enjoyed laughter and was the household prankster; he liked teasing or getting you with one of his jokes. He always could make you laugh with one of his stories or impersonate someone or something that happened. He is also survived by his nephews, to name a few: Gerald, Kevin, Jamel, David, and Devon; devoted Aunt & Uncle, Mildred & Lenny Moore; Aunt Marion Gibbs; and a host of nieces, cousins, aunts and Grand Mom Juanita Gibbs. 11am, , 1st at The Resurrection , 3301 N. Obituary: Nancy Woznicki a resident of Old New Castle, DE passed away peacefully on evening, 4, 2014 with her son, daughter and son-in-law by her side. Nancy, 65, was born in Wilmington, Delaware and spent her early childhood growing up in Marshallton. She attended John Dickinson High School and Delaware Tech. Nancy spent many years working in the fine jewelry business and was employed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle and J.E Caldwell & jewelers. Nancy was a very supportive, proud and devoted mother to her children, Jonathan and Blakeley, and was a dedicated and loving Ganny to her granddaughter, Pia. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Woznicki and her stepfather, Joseph Habbart. She leaves behind her son, Jonathan Barnes; her daughter, Blakeley Perrone, son-in-law Bryan and granddaughter Pia; her mother, Margaret Habbart; her siblings, Jerry Woznicki (Kathy), Jim Woznicki, Lynn Healy (Matt) and Joe Habbart; and stepsister, Jan Kinsella. Nancy also leaves behind her loving cats, Lippy and Honey. Nancy was comforted in her final days with the fact that she would once again be joined with her beloved father, Jerry Woznicki. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Intensive Unit Staff at Christina for all of their compassionate care, support and guidance during Nancys last days.
