Obituary: Tommie Marie Henderson Williams, 76, of Mobile, AL, passed away , May 11, 2017. Mrs. Williams graduated from Murphy High School and attended the University of Alabama. She was a very talented artist and seamstress, and was the owner of Childrens Collection. She was a fantastic homemaker, and enjoyed many diverse hobbies. For all of her interests and accomplishments, there was nothing in the world Tommie loved more than her grandchildren. Tommies world revolved around them, and she was very proud of each and every one. Tommie joined her husband of over 40 years, William S. Williams Sr., and was also preceded in death by her parents, Thomas B. Henderson and Hortense Hafner; and one brother, Thomas Bud Henderson Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Mike) Stewart and Ashley Churchman; one son, Chip (Vicki) Williams; grandson, Cooper Williams; five granddaughters, Rachel and Riley Williams, Emily Churchman, Jayne and Elizabeth Stewart; two sisters, Pat Hudson and Mary Hafner; her very best friend, Millie Smith; and multiple nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Williams on , May 15, 2017 at 3 p.m. in Pine Crest on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile. |

Obituary: Mr. Thomas Allan Williams - a resident of Mobile, AL for the past 44 years, was received into the arms of Jesus on 17, 2010 after an extended illness. He was born on 15, 1943 in Houston, TX. He was a born-again Christian and a member of Moffett Road Assembly of God Church. Allan served in the U. S. Air Force, active and reserve, 1964 until 1970. He retired from Southern Electric in Mobile in 2001. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Thomas Williams; his mother, Miriam Johnson Wakefield; and sister, Sharon Wakefield Barnhill. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Gloria Jackson Williams; daughter, Tammy Williams (Charles, Jr.) Ernest; and two grandchildren, Charles Joseph Ernest, III (C.J.) and Madison Leigh Ernest. He is also survived by step-mother, Melba Williams; two brothers, Ricque (Judy) Williams and Donald (Melody) Wakefield; one sister, Diane Wall; and many other family members and friends.
