Obituary: Leon J. Werner, 82, of Sheboygan passed away , 2, 2013 at Meadow View Manor. Leon was born 15, 1930 in Sheboygan to Bernard and Marcella (Zoch) Werner. On 30, 1958 Leon and Shirley Matelko were united in marriage at St. Dominic Catholic Church. She preceded him in death 28, 2011. He was employed at Spiller Springs for forty-nine years. Leon enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing yard work, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was also a lifelong member of Elm City Bow Hunters Club and the local Furnitures Worker Eight Hundred Union. Leon is survived by two children, Ronald (Cheryl) Werner of Sheboygan and Ann (Floyd) Spindler of Elkhart Lake; three grandchildren, Amanda Schmidt, Christopher Schmidt, and Ryan Rice; two great-grandchildren, Christian and Mason; three sisters, Germaine (Ivan) Loving and Rosemary (Pete) Johnson both of Florida, Marcella Hummitch of Sheboygan In addition to his parents and wife Shirley, Leon was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Crystal and Jeremiah Gile; a brother, Jim (Ines) Werner; and a sister, Bernice Schvark. Services will be held at 11:00am on , 5, 2013 at the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave., Kohler, WI. Rev. Phil Reifenberg, Pastor of St. Dominic Catholic Church will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Light on from 9:00am until the time of service. Leons family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Meadow View Manor and St. Nicholas , , and Hospice for the care and compassion shown to him. |

Obituary: John M. Werner Sr., 80, of Sheboygan, former Editor of The Sheboygan Press, died at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on , 7, 2011. John was born in Sheboygan, 30, 1931 to A. Matt and Dorothy (Bowler) Werner. Following graduation from Georgetown Prep in Rockville, Maryland, he furthered his education at Regis in Denver, Colorado. On 11, 1958, John and Helen Leibham were united in marriage at St. Dominic Catholic Church. John joined the family business, The Sheboygan Press, where he was Editor for over 30 years until his retirement in 1988. John was well known in the Sheboygan area and was very active in community events throughout his life. In addition to his wife, Helen, survivors include, three sons, Michael Werner (special friend, Peggy) of Sheboygan, John (Jodi) Werner Jr. of Sheboygan, Tom (Debbie) Werner of Plymouth; five grandchildren, McKenna, Andrea, Madeline, John III, and Gregory; a brother, Dr. David (Joanne) Werner; a sister, Sr. Mary Ellen Werner; two sisters-in-law, Mary Belle and Letty Werner all of Sheboygan; two brothers-in-law, John (Honey) Leibham of New Holstein, Bill (Mary Lu) Leibham of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, and friends. John was preceded in death by a son, Mark, two brothers, Pat and Tim; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Charles Slamar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated , 12:00 noon at St. Dominic Catholic Church by Rev. Michael Dineen. Interment will take place in Calvary . A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on , from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated for the memorial funds established in Johns name for the Sheboygan YMCA and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. |

Obituary: Horicon Herbert C. Werner, JR, age 72, of Horicon, died on , 5, 2007 at his home. Werner, Jr., was born on 30, 1934, in Beaver Dam, the son of Herbert C. SR, and Iona L. (Casper) Werner. Herb was a 1952 graduate of the Horicon High School. He worked at the Gehl Co. in West Bend while attending Milwaukee School of Engineering, graduating in 1967. On 5, 1968, he was united in marriage to Sandra Robson in Waunakee, Wisconsin. He started his own TV repair and sales business, Specialty TV, in 1965, in Horicon, retiring on 1, 2007. Herb is a past member and president of the Horicon Chamber of Commerce and was a past member of the Horicon Rotary Club. Survivors include, his wife, Sandy Werner of Horicon; his son, Mark (Liz) Werner of Beaver Dam; his three grandchildren, Jennifer, Kelley and Thomas (Ramona) Werner all of Beaver Dam; his two great grandchildren, Ariana and Dustin; his two sisters, Delores Doerfert of Hartford and Loraine DoBraff of Hustisford; his two brothers-in-law, John Faeh of Columbus and Gary (Grayce) Robson of Hartford; his three sisters-in-law, Annette Schmadebeck of Beaver Dam, Kay Miller of Middleton and Carol (Carl) Rosensprung of Kenosha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
