Obituary: Charlie was born in Boone, Iowa on May 30, 1959, to Diane and Chuck Wheeler. moved to Everett, WA in the early '60's where Charlie went to school and graduated from Everett High School in 1977. He worked for Everett Steel for over 25 years. Charlie married Sherri May 24th, 1996, blending their families. Rudy, Missa and Margie were now siblings. Sherri was Mom. Charlie was Dad. He stepped into the role of a father to a daughter with special needs and he was fabulous at it. In 2010, he was diagnosed with a lung infection. This is where the battle began. On 2, 2012, he had his right lung removed. Sixteen days later, he suffered a stroke. He fought hard, but lost his courageous battle on 28, 2016, following a massive heart attack. He was only 56. Charlie loved his Mariners. He had many great spring training trips. He was also a die hard Seahawks fan. Camping was also a favorite of his, and he loved those times with friends, Carl and Leisa and their daughter Abby. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Chuck on 2, 2002, and his daughter Margie on 17, 2006. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 20 years, Sherri, his mother Diane Judd (Jerry), his son Rudy, daughter Missa, Grandson, "Little Charlie", brother, Ed (Jan), sister Linda, and many friends and relatives. Charlie was an organ donor. His eyes will still see. Obituary: BETTY L. WHEELER 13, 1924 ~ 8, 2016 Betty was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was proud of her family. Betty L. Wheeler of Vancouver, WA, 92, passed away 8, 2016. She was born Feb. 13, 1924 in Virgil, KS. high school graduation, Betty moved to Ridgefield, WA with her family. She worked in an office at the Vancouver Ship Yards during WWII. Later, as a student at UW, she married the sailor she met at a USO dance. Betty retired as Deputy City Clerk in Ridgefield, WA in 1998. She enjoyed R.V. traveling, playing pinochle, writing, and family gatherings. Betty is survived by her daughters, Teresa Walsh (Jeff) and Sara Paul (Ken), both of Vancouver, WA; brother, Norman Parker of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Shawn Hester of San Diego, CA, Connie Custodio of Irvine, CA, Sally Waddle of Vancouver, WA, Kyle Walsh of Vancouver, WA, and John Paul of Woodland, WA; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years and the love of her life, Clayton R. Wheeler; sister, Peggy Heying; and daughter, Judy Hester.
