Obituary: Delores Wheatley of Monroe went to early service morning, 22, to celebrate with Jesus. She was the last of her immediate McIntyre family. She was born in Celoron, New York 9, 1928 to Guy and Edna McIntyre and married Edward Wheatley 11, 1950. Her parents and younger brother, John, were killed in a traffic accident 22, 1950 in route to spend Thanksgiving with Edward and Delores. Her brother, Duane, and sister, Bernice also preceded her in death. She graduated from Youngsville, Pennsylvania High School in 1946. Her first job after graduating was in Warren, PA at Blair Clothing. She attended Allentown Bible Institute in Allentown, PA, where she met Edward. raised three children, Tim (Pam) Wheatley, John Wheatley, and Cassandra (Lee) Bridges. also took in a foster daughter, Donna Storeide. Edward was a pastor, so Delores spent much of her adult life as a pastors wife and homemaker. She did work briefly for Parkway in Snohomish, WA. Edward preceded her in death in 1996. During their years of ministry, they lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Louisiana, Delaware, New York, Idaho, and Washington states. Delores was known for routinely preparing large meals on s after church, for guests, and for special occasions. She will also be remembered as one who was faithful in praying for others, and for sending cards and letters, for birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, and friendships. Every year, she read through the entire Bible. She is survived by seven grandchildren \ Megan Schuyleman (Josh), Brooks Wheatley (Jill), Josh Anderson, Michael Wheatley (Cailyn), Amanda Hutchinson (Kent), Janae Kaldhusdal (Ryan), and Jacob Anderson, and two great grandchildren \ Levi and Blake Schuyleman, by accepted grandchildren Michele Garza, Amy Kriek, and Meera Bridges, by her sister-in-law, Phyllis McIntyre, and by many nieces and one nephew. A private graveside service will take place at I.O.O.F cemetery in Monroe, WA and a memorial service will be held at Marysville Church of the Nazarene, , 28 at 1:30. Special thanks to Providence Hospice for their services, to the caregivers from Cascade Companion , and to the friends who graciously gave their time to care for her.
