Obituary: Ollie Thurman Wines Ollie Thurman Wines, age 72, of Chester Gap passed away on , 13, 2015 at his home. A graveside service will be conducted on , 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Bill Jenkins officiating. Friends may call on , 15, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw . Mr. Wines was born in Front Royal on 26, 1942 a son of the late Albert Samuel and Ruby Pearl Campbell Wines. He had been a laborer for Wines Construction. He enjoyed cutting and splitting wood and his cats and dog. He collected anything John Deere. He was a loving husband and brother. Mr. Wines is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sarah Robinson Wines; his brother, Elwood Wines; his sisters, Jean Wines and husband Waldo, Judy Chrisman, Janet L. Wines, Shirley Smoot and husband Wayne; numerous nieces and nephews; and one special nephew, Todd Smoot. In addition to his parents Mr. Wines was preceded in death by his step-son, Russell S. Streets; his brother, James Wines; and his sister, Joan Wines. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W.
