Obituary: Lucy Yung-Ling Wang (age 90) Passed away peacefully on , May 5, 2011 with her family in attendance. Born in China, she came to America as a teenager and earned degrees in business and mathematics. She had a long career as an educator at a private school in Alexandria, VA in both math and the Chinese language, having authored one of the first elementary school texts introducing the Mandarin language to English speakers. She later served as headmistress at the same school. She retired to Sun City West, AZ where she enjoyed travelling and volunteering at the local school and hospital. In 2009, she moved back to Virginia and lived with her son, Vincent, his wife, Teresa, and their two children, Joseph and Jonathan. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren as they grew and sharing in their accomplishments. In addition to her son and his family, she is survived by her brother, Eddie Wang, and her two sisters, Mary Lacson and Elizabeth Wang, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, Arizona, on , May 20th, from 6 - 8pm with services being held on , May 21st, at 10am with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or Evercare Hospice. Local arrangements by Demaine , Springfield, Virginia. |

Obituary: Wang, Mr. Hengqi, a teacher and a writer. Born on 27, 1936 of Fanchang, Anhui Province of China, he went with our Lord on 27, 2017. graduated from the Hefei normal university Chinese department in , 1959, Mr. Wang taught the theory of Literature in college for 4 years. In 1963, he married Yanqiu Pan. In 1963, in order to reunite with his wife, Mr. Wang gave up the university faculty position, moved to the city of Wuhu to teach at No. 1 High School of Wuhu where he taught until his retirement in 1993. Mr. Wang was an outstanding senior teacher. Many students were impacted by his teaching & guidance and considered him as life impact mentor. He was the director of Chinese language and literature division of No.1 high school as well as the City of Wuhu Chinese educational association. Mr. Wang published many literary criticism, plays, poetry and prose works in the publications such as Wuhu Daily, Hefei Daily, Anhui Daily, Folk Stories and so on. He was a member of writers' club for the city of Wuhu and Anhui province. Mr. Wang also publish three books regarding Chinese teaching in High School by Anhui education publishing house, and Nanjing university press. his retirement in 1993, Mr. Wang and his wife immigrated to US to be with his children. Through the years, he used "Aimin", "Ajie" as pen names and published hundreds of prose, essays, and novels in the World journal, the World weekly, Wuhu Style and other journals/magazines.Mr. Wang is survived by his wife Yangqiu Pan and three children as well as their families: son Feng Wang, daughter-in-law Chaojuan(Jane) Rao, grandson Eric Wang, granddaughter Laura Wang; older daughter He Wang (Sarah Bice), son-in-law Stuart Bice , granddaughter Victoria "Tori" Yangzi Bice live in Richmond, VA.
