Obituary: Norma Swanner Williams, of Spanish Fork & St. George, surround by family, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2006 in St. George, Utah. Norma was born in Hooper, Utah on 18, 1919 to Charles and Ivie Parker Swanner and later moved to Spanish Fork where she grew up, graduated from high school, and married her high school sweetheart, Ercel W. Williams on 18, 1939. He preceded her in death on 12, 1995. Norma loved to travel and entertain. She loved to spend time with her family whenever possible. She is a life-long member of the LDS church. She is survived by her sons: Kenton (Judy) Williams of St. George and Jeffery Williams, of Phoenix, AZ: 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 brother: Charles Bub (Joyce) Swanner, of Spanish Fork. She was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Swanner, and sister, Bernice Swenson. services will be , 1, 2006 at 1 pm in the Walker Mortuary Chapel, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork. Obituary: Mildred Marian Williams 16, 1929 - 19, 2015 Mildred Marian Williams, 86, passed away 19, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born 16, 1929 in Milo, Idaho to Albert Peter Albretsen and Ludy Eulalia Peterson. She attended Madison High School. Mildred married Griffith E. Williams on 8, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the LDS Church. She chose to be resilient with grace and honor. Her home was a central hub for barbecues, festive occasions or a random gathering on the back porch with family and friends. Her kitchen was always ready to extend the offer of a meal. She cared for each of us at one time or another as she would one of her own. She left us with many fond memories and will be greatly missed! Mildred is survived by her children Craig, Diane, and Scott Williams as well as six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter Janice. Graveside services will be held , 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park in the Lilac Garden, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to graveside service at Valley View . |

Obituary: Max Gray Williams, age 88, passed away on 12, 2014 in Payson, Utah. He was born 8, 1925 in Lindsay, California to Lyman Leland Williams and Lucille Gray. He is an alumnus of Utah State University and worked as a civil engineer, including many years working overseas. He married Barbara Dahl on 20, 1951 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was active in his faith and served 2 LDS senior missions with Barbara to Macon Georgia and SLC Church History Mission. Max was a fan of all sports, especially loving to play basketball and tennis. He was a hard worker and was not happy when he didn't have work to do. He loved music and would always tap his foot and sing along with the music. But he loved being with his family most of all. His wonderful smile and friendly wink will be missed by all who knew him. We would also like to thank those who cared for him at the Central Utah Veterans in Payson, Utah. were truly 'angels' to him in this difficult time, making him feel loved and at home. He is survived by: wife, Barbara, sister Margie, son Neil (Diana) Williams, daughter Gail (Robert) Snow, son Thane (Roberta) Williams, daughter Rebecca (Delbert) Thurston, 13 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Thad and sister Janet. services will be held at the Midvale 1st Ward LDS chapel, 308 W 7500 S, Midvale Utah, Oct 16, at 2 pm. Obituary: Max L. Williams Max L. Williams, 94, died 23rd, 2006, in Provo, Utah, of causes incident to age. Max was born 2 1912, in Kanarraville, Utah, to Lorenzo Jones & Sade (Reeves) Williams, he was the oldest of four children; Ross, Reed (both deceased) and Fern (now residing in Cedar City). Later, his father married Jenny Reeves (Sades sister). Max married Edna Emily Walker in Kanarraville, Utah 20 1938: later solemnized (1946) in the St. George Temple. Father of ReVoe (Wilson), Dale & Gail (premature twins who died shortly after birth), JoAnn (Whatcott) of Provo, Utah, L. Jay Williams of Taylorsville, Utah, and Shauna Jean (Lazarus) of Old Greenwich, Connecticut. He and Edna have more than a hundred grand and great-grandchildren. Max grew up and attended public schools in Kanarraville and Cedar City, Utah. Max and Edna moved to California in 1943 where they lived in East Los Angeles and Montebello for about 30 years. Max worked as a civilian employee for the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the Los Angeles Area Procurement District - mostly as an mechanic and quality control inspector. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions including stake clerk, bishops counselor, family history researcher and scoutmaster. He and Edna filled a full time mission to the Washington D.C. Temple, and worked for more than 18 years in the Provo Temple. Max was a deer and pheasant hunter and a trout fisherman of the first order. He was well known for his excellent memory of details and his ability to do well whatever he said he would do. He had a gentle smile and a quietly pleasant demeanor. He had fond memories of his stint with the Civilian Conservations Corps, his childhood in Kanarraville, and his church service. services will be held , 28 , 2006, at 10 a.m. in the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem. Family and friends may call from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. in the Cedar City , Utah. |
