Obituary: Elmer Baxendale White, 94, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away on 31, 2008. He was born 23, 1914 in Duchesne, Utah to Oscar Thomas and Ann Baxendale White. He attended schools in Duschesne and enjoyed the benefits of being raised in a large, loving family. Elmer proudly served his country as a Medic in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Hazel Kathleen Jensen on 31, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He later married Phyllis Erickson Petersen in , 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The father of four daughters, Elmer devoted his life to his family. He worked in construction as a Heavy Equipment Operator fo W.W. Clyde for many years. He loved fishing and hunting, traveling with his wife as they visited many foreign countries, and camping with his family and grandkids. Elmer enjoyed participating at the Spanish Fork Senior Citizen and especially appreciated the dinners and visiting with his friends there. He was an Elder and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elmer is survived by his daughters, Carole Johnson, Provo, UT; Eileen (Donald) Robinson, Boutiful, UT; Evelyn (Wayne) Hendrickson, Springville, UT: and Jeanette Miller (Peterson), of West Valley, UT. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a brother, Evan B. White, Wyoming; a sister, Nora B. Hennings, California, and his companion of over ten years, his little Schipperke dog named Pepper. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two wives, Kay, and Phyllis; a grandson, Merrill D. Johnson; two brothers, Melvin, and Harold; and five sisters, Pearl, Grace, Leona, Eveline, and May. services will be held on , 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call at the mortuary on evening, 5, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. or on morning prior to services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City . |

Obituary: Edward L. White, age 78, passed away 9, 2007 at Utah Valley Regional Medical . He was a devoted husband, caring father, grandpa, brother, and friend. Edward was born on 26, 1928 to Lois J. and Verl Williams White. He was born and raised in Spanish Fork, Utah. He married Lela Rae Hansen in 1948, who preceded him in death in 1977. He then married Jessie Jensen in 1979. Edward had several talents, many of which he learned in his youth. Edwards first job was to custom plow fields for local farmers on his own Ford Ferguson tractor. He then worked for his uncle, Dell White, at a family-owned grocery store in Green River, Wyoming. coming back to Utah, Edward worked for U. S. Steel at Ironton. He was a Timeway Loan Manager at First Security Bank for 14 years. He started his own trucking company, Spanish Fork Transportation, which he operated for 20 years. Edward then hauled fuel for 13 years with his son, Stuart, after which he retired. His life came full circle as he hauled fuel to the same farmers whose fields he plowed as a youth. Many around Edwards neighborhood will remember him for his yard full of roses. His yard was the second home in Spanish Fork to be awarded Yard of the Month. His yard is adorned with over 200 varieties of roses. Edward was a collector of many items-all of which were immaculately organized and shined until they gleamed. Edward is survived by is wife, Jessie; children: Steven White, Stuart (Shannon) White; grandchildren: Tiffany (David) Fairbanks, Patrick (Megan) White, Chelsey (Cole) Ercanbrack, Rachelle (Kody) Carling, Kira (John) Carter, Jacob White, and Kaitlyn White; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Grace Ann (Allen) Thomas, and Dan (Claire) White. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and daughter, Marriden (David) Warner. Bless your heart, Grandpa. Well love you forever. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on , 15, 2007 at the Spanish Fork . In case of severe inclement weather, services will be held at Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork.
