Obituary: Fernetta Law Warner, 89, of Spanish Fork passed away , 31, 2006. She was surrounded by the love of her family as she welcomed the embrace of her Heavenly Father. She was born in Cardston, Alberta Canada on 29, 1917. She was the second child of Jordan Albert and Jessie Letishia Clark Law. She married Jarvis D Warner from Spanish Fork on 29, 1936 in Payson, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. When she was 6 years old, Fernetta and her family moved from Canada to Payson, Utah where she attended school and graduated from Payson High School in 1935. She always said it was a joyous day when she received her U.S. citizenship. She enjoyed taking care of her family and set a great example for them. There wasn much she couldn create with her hands. She took pride in her fine handiwork with ceramics, needlework, and crocheted layettes for her many grandchildren. She enjoyed beautiful music and the wonders of nature. She could identify every bird that visited her yard. Above all, however, Fernetta cherished her relationship with her Savior. She was an active member of the LDS church and served many callings. She was President of the Relief Society and ward chorister. She dearly loved her work in the Provo Temple and at the Spanish Fork Extraction . Fernetta and her husband served in the Dearborn Michigan Mission where they made lasting friendships and touched many lives. She is survived by five of her children: Richard (Maurieum) Warner of Beloit, Wisconsin; Pamela (Paul) Christensen of Spanish Fork; Edward (Ilona) Warner of Nampa, Idaho; Boyd (Debbie) Warner of Laguna Hills, California; Kathryn Warner of Spanish Fork, Utah; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Mecham (Paul, deceased) of Spanish Fork, Utah; and 21 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen Burton of Payson, Ila Gilles of Layton, Madelin Benson of St. George; and three brothers, Thomas Law of Orem, Clark Law of Arizona and Jordan Law of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jarvis, her son Paul David Warner, and siblings Olive Beatrice Law and Rosa Hawker. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and compassion Fernetta received while in the care of Horizon , Cassidy Locke and Hearts for Hospice, and Payson and Rehabilitation . also wish to send a special loving and prayerful thank you to granddaughter, Jenny Warner Johnson and Sherry Booth who was like a daughter to her. services will be held on , 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork 15th Ward Chapel, 400 E. Street, Spanish Fork. Family and friends may call evening from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, and from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. on prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City . |

Obituary: Our wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend passed away peacefully on 5, 2012. She is reunited with her dear mother, father and 9 siblings. Deanne was born 14, 1924 In Spanish Fork, Utah to William Glen and Edna Wilson Davis. She lived most of her young life on their farm in Leland and learned all the chores of a farm life including milking the cows. Her favorite thing to do was riding her horse Old Roney. On 23, 1942 she married her high school sweetheart Gordon R. Warner in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. celebrated their 70th wedding, 23, 2012. She loved to sew beautiful clothes for her 4 daughters, sisters and friends. Deanne always kept her children well dressed and kept their hair combed to perfection. She taught school and Primary Classes and did sealing work in the Jordan River Temple. She is survived by her husband Gordon R. Warner, and 6 of her 7 children, Mariely (David) Bleyl, Sheryl (John Farmer and Jack) Watson, Rhea (Lee) Fugal, Paul G. Warner, Glen R. Warner and Kevin D. Warner, 27 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren. She has two surviving sisters, Glenda Cordner and Dixie Lee Edwards. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lorraine, her parents,two brothers and two sisters. Services will be held , 10, 2012 at Timpview LDS 9th Ward, 1050 North 600 West, Orem, Utah, at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family may call at Walker in Spanish Fork, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork , Utah, on , 9, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and , 10th 11:30 – 12:30 pm, at the church prior to the service.
