Obituary: J. LeRoy Walker J. LeRoy Walker known to his friends as Roi passed away , 28, 2008, at The Residence Source in Salt Lake City. Roi was 87 years old and ready to join his beloved Aileen who died 12, 2004. Although he was born in Sutherland, Utah, Roi spent some of his early years in the Oak City area and attended Delta High School. Later he attended Dixie college and the University of Utah before going into the army. a short break in service to become a civilian again, Roi went back into the army and made a 26-year career of it. Following his retirement from the service as lieutenant colonel, Roi worked for BYU in the Educational Media Division. seven years there, Roi started his own multi-media business and ran it for several years before ultimately retiring. Once Roi had lived in Orem for a few years, he ran for the office of city councilman and served in that capacity for several years. He enjoyed getting to know more of Orems citizens and in helping to make that city a great place to live. During his lifetime, Roi was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings. Some of these included bishop, high councilman, district president, choir director, and faithful home teacher. He had a great love of scouting and helped many young men attain the rank of eagle scout. Roi and Aileen served in the Australia Perth Mission from 1987-1988. Roi is survived by five of his six children--Jae and Kathleen Walker of Glendora, CA; Larry and Vickie Walker of Blue Ridge, TX; Les and Ian Tomlinson of Las Vegas, NV; Lynne and Chuck Newton of South Jordan, UT; and Jerri and Gary Sume of West Jordan, UT. His daughter, Toni Walker of Newport Beach, CA, preceded him in death. He also has thirty-two grandchildren and fifty-six great grandchildren. services will be held at 11 a.m. , 31, 2008, at the Sharon 5th Ward Chapel, 545 South 800 East, Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem and morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be held at the Orem City . |

She worked for Alpine School District as a lunch lady at Geneva Elementary and various caf�s in Orem. She was a member of the LDS 4th Ward Church. She loved her family, friends, camping, fishing and going to Wendover. She married Ira (Ike) John Walker 13, 1945 in Evanston, Wyoming, they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Hellen is survived by her children: Vickie (Tracy) Southwick and Jay (Pam) Walker, Lucille Walker (daughter-in-law), 10 grandkids, 28 great grandkids, 8 great-great grandkids. Obituary: Dr. Glen Harris Walker Dr. Glen Harris Walker, 80, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on , 10, 2008. He was born on 4, 1927 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada to James H and Fannye Harris Walker. He married his childhood sweetheart, Willa Rae Erickson of Stirling, Alberta, Canada 20, 1950 in the Cardston, Alberta Temple. faithfully serving his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia, he graduated from Medical School at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He then moved to Salt Lake City, specializing in general surgery. In 1964 he relocated to Los Angeles, California, later specializing in Thoracic Cardiovascular surgery. Glen and his sweetheart, Willa Rae, served in three Temple Presidencies in the Los Angeles Temple and enjoyed their experiences as President and Matron. He was known for his compassion, love, sense of humor and great intellect. He spent his life healing others both medically and spiritually, a friend to all. Glen is survived by his wife Willa Rae, and six children; Cam (Patsy) Walker, Glenna Rae (Jim) White, Sheryl (Tom) Hrncirik, Dennis (Julie) Walker, Georgene (Dave) Berman, Janie (Mike) DiDonna, 30 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. He is also survived by 6 siblings; Beth Zemp, Fay Walker, Mary Fairbanks, Jane McMullin, Ralph Walker, Reed Walker, and dozens of beloved nephews and nieces. services will be held , 16, 2008 at 12:00 pm at the LDS Church, 4295 North Canyon Road, Provo, Utah. Prior to the service there will be a viewing at 11:00 am. Family and friends may attend a viewing evening from 6-8 pm at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Interment will be held at East Lawn Memorial Hills, Provo, Utah. |

Obituary: Frank Walker 8, 1957 ~ 31, 2011 Our larger than life “Papa Bear†passed away , 31, 2011. Frank was born 8, 1957 in Akron, Ohio, spent his childhood in Tucson, Arizona, and lived most of his adult life in Utah. Frank was very well known and respected in the Marine Industry as owner of Wasatch Marine in Salt Lake City and Newport Beach, California. The most important thing in Frank’s life was his family. He adored them all. Frank could always be counted on to be the biggest fan of his sons, grandsons, nephews and nieces. Frank married the love of his life and best friend, Pam on 7, 1985. Together they have shared much love for each other and their family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and MaryAnn and his sister Martha. Frank is leaving behind his loving wife, Pam, sons Jason (Ashley), Jess Taylor (Mailee), four grandchildren Jack, Jett, Adalyn and Josie. His brother Michael (Tamara), nephews, nieces and Uncle Evans.
