Obituary: DENISON - William Newton Wright, 92, passed away , 22, 2010 at Texoma Specialty in Denison. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., , 7, 2010 at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 N. Lillis Lane, Denison, TX 75020, with Dr. Chet Haney officiating. William was born in Newsome, Texas on 16, 1918, the son of Jessie Wright and Bess Burroughs. He married Edna Hook in Patterson, NJ and she preceded him in death. He then married Betty Jo Reid at Parkside Baptist Church in Denison and she preceded him in death also. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the American Society for Mechanical Engineers. His achievements were: Eagle Scout, Three Palms, founder of Temtex, and Temperature Systems and Components Co. He was an engineer with CCC when building the Denison Dam; engineer with the War Department in Washington, DC; engineer with Curtis Wright Propeller, World War II; has multiple patents, three still classified. He moved back to Denison 25 years ago and purchased Ward Central School, which became Temtex. He is survived by daughter Jacalyn Erskine of Bothell, WA; son Donald N. Wright of Garland, TX; granddaughters Katherine Wright and Amanda Wright, RN; brother John Ken Wright of Richardson, TX are entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher , 401 W. Obituary: Willard Clinton Wright, the ultimate cowboy, also known as Ol G and Big Daddy to many, passed away in Odessa, Texas on , 9, 2017. He was born to the late, Clinton Merle and Carolyn Lois Green Wright on 17, 1938 in Odonnell, Texas. Clint was a man who left a mark on those he encountered. He was known as one of the most unique people you could ever meet. He had a strong will and independent streak, some might even say he was mischievous. Clint was a man who lived his life on his own terms. He was generous to a fault, always putting others above himself. Clint believed in having an open home to anyone who might need it. He was an animal lover, especially of his dogs and horses. He was a horse-trainer and farrier by trade, which afforded him the opportunity to meet people of all walks of life. He was extremely loyal to his friends and family. Clint was the blond headed cowboy with the smile that you never forgot. His open heart, love for life and infectious laughter will be missed greatly. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Mark Wright. Survivors include his daughters, Cee-Cee McMullan, Keila Wright, Kenda Wright, Karolyn Wright, and Kat Snowden; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on , 11, 2017 in the Johnsons Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens of San Angelo. Dr. James Miller will officiate.
