Obituary: Georgina Clara Wright entered into eternal peace on , 11, 2014.

Jeanie was born on May 2, 1932, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Eckerdt, and sister to the late Bill and Bob Eckerdt and Irene Deveraux and survived by her sister Marion Black. Jeanie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wesley L. Wright and their four children including daughter Linda Todd and husband David of Coppell, TX, son David Wright and wife Deborah of Station, TX, son Larry Wright and wife Marcia of Tulsa, OK, and daughter Lori Mullen and husband Bryon of Carrollton, TX. Jeanie is also survived by nine grandchildren: Brandi Todd, Michael Todd, James Wright and wife Lindsey, Jennifer Wright, Samantha Grant and husband Jake, Danielle Wright, Cole Wright, Kelly Mullen, Katelynn Mullen and one great-grandchild Addison Wright.

Born as a farmers daughter, Jeanie graduated from Manderson High School in Wyoming where she was a good student and member of the high school band. Upon graduation, she attended business college in Denver, Colorado. On 29, 1951, Jeanie married her high school sweetheart, also lovingly referred to as her Cowboy Sweetheart, Wesley Wright. Wes and Jeanie moved to Illinois during his enlistment in the US Air Force and later moved back to Worland until 1964 when they transferred to Texas and settled in Carrollton. Jeanie worked many years for the Carrollton/Farmers Branch Independent School District in the Tax Office while raising their four children. During their later working years, they spent three years in Saudi Arabia while Wes worked for Mobile Pipeline which provided multiple opportunities to travel throughout Europe. Wes retired in 1991, and they fulfilled their dream of building a beautiful home and living on Lake Catherine in Arkansas while also spending their summers in the area of their childhood home in Tensleep, WY. traveled extensively in their 5th wheel RV across the nation from Pensacola, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska and many spots in between, visiting their children and grandchildren along the way. In 2004 they returned to Carrollton to be closer to their family.

Jeanie was a great cook and loved to bake. Her pies and cinnamon rolls were some of her best work. She also had a love for sewing and made numerous barbie doll outfits, many items of home decor, multiple square dance outfits, and 19 beloved Christmas stockings for her entire family. She also enjoyed creating photo albums and scrapbooks.

Jeanie loved her family, the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming, square-dancing & RVing with close friends and the groups of Merry Mobile Methodists, Camping Squares, and the Mobile Pipeline friends. She especially delighted in her grandchildren and was constantly inquiring as to their activities and accomplishments and loved to see them often. She instilled noble values within her family and expressed her desire that they become responsible citizens.

In lieu of flowers, gifts of memorial may be given to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration at www.theaftd.org. Jeanies memorial service will be on , 16th at 11:00am at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Carrollton, Texas.

Obituary: George V. Wright went home to be with the Lord on 1, 2011, after a brilliant 3-year battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome and Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He spent his last 6 days in hospice at home surrounded by his loving wife Freida, sister-in-law Deanna, son Greger, son Kerry, daughter-in-law Kristina, and grandchildren Kennah and Kolton. He was born to George and Clara Wright in St. Louis Missouri, 11, 1925. George grew up in Wheatland, Missouri, and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he graduated from high school. He attended Kings Business in Raleigh before being drafted into the U.S. Army where he served a 6-month tour of Japan in 1945 after the Pacific war ended. He then attended John Brown University in Arkansas on the G.I. Bill. George was a territorial manager for Owens Illinois in Texas until he retired in 1987. He and his wife Freida owned the Diet on Bandera Road until they both retired in 1993. His passions were big band music and ballroom dancing. George and Freida were former members of the K Supper Club ballroom dancing. His other obsessions were Fox News Channel and Lawrence Welk. He served as precinct election judge for years along with his wife. He was a member of First Baptist Church of San Antonio and watched them faithfully on TV for the past three years. He enjoyed a well manicured yard, gardening and praying for rain. His tastes included fine suits, wingtip shoes and looking sharp at all times. George was a detailed person and an artist in his own right who loved all things beautiful. Singing softly in rich, sonorous tones to ballads and hymns played on the radio was quite common, which was comforting to himself and those around him. George loved people—particularly the company of nonjudgmental souls who loved from their hearts; who were overtly warm, safe and affirming, for that was the kind of man he was. His friends adored him for his warmth, charm and dignity. He would consistently engage a clerk or service person with respectful consideration. Through his English bride—The Love of his Life as he referred to her—he became an avid fan of British humor through British television comedies. He is survived by his loving wife, Freida, of 32 years; sister Ann and husband Dave Measell and family of Kansas; brother Richard and wife Lynn Wright and family of Texas; son Greger Wright of Alaska; son Mike Wright and wife of Colorado; son Major Curby Graham, wife Stephanie, granddaughters Claire and Vivian of Virginia; son Kerry Graham, wife Kristina, granddaughter Kennah and grandson Kolton of Arizona.
