Obituary: Bradley Clinton Woodlock, 56, passed away , 15, 2012. The service to honor his life will take place at 11 a.m. on , 19 at Resthavens Abbey Chapel, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Bradley was a 7th generation Texan and was born 19, 1955 in Lubbock to Clinton Woodlock and Mozelle Sosebee Woodlock. During his childhood he became known as the family prankster and was always looking for a way to make people laugh. He did, however have a studious side and remained a life-long learner. He attended Roscoe Wilson Elementary School, Hutchison Junior High School and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1974. He then attended South Plains where he obtained a degree in Drafting Technology. Because of his love for music, most of his free time was spent listening to the blues and playing his bass guitar. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Debbie Williams Woodlock of Lubbock, one son; Barry Woodlock and his wife, Diana of Houston, Texas; daughter Anna Woodlock of Lubbock; three sisters, Lana Woodlock of Lubbock, Susan Woodlock Smithson and her husband, Bob of Lubbock and Judy Woodlock Bryant and her husband, Butch of Levelland, Texas. Obituary: Lois was born in Atlanta, Arkansas on May 9, 1921 to Victor and Shallie Jean, and died 11, 2017 at the age of 95 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Her early years began in the small Arkansas community mainly consisting of decedents of Atlanta's founder Charles W. Jean, Lois' grandfather. The latter part of her life was spent in the East Texas city of Nacogdoches where Dianne and Wayne Proctor, Lois' daughter and son-in-law, lived. In order to attend high school, Lois found the need to leave Atlanta to live with her uncle Dr. McGraw and Lila, his wife, in the larger Arkansas town of El Dorado. graduating, World War II was underway. Lois found work as a riveter for the Fisher Aircraft in Tennessee. While working there she met William (Bill) R. Woodlief, her future husband. Bill and Lois were married 63 years with their home for most of those years in Jacinto City, Texas, a suburb east of Houston, Texas. Lois worked as a cosmetologist at a Weingarten store and as a secretary for Barney Construction, Lykes Shipping, and various other companies. Both Lois and Bill were active members of First Baptist Church of Houston serving as School teachers for the better part of 20 years. began with the teaching of younger children with Lois teaching girls and Bill teaching boys. Lois later taught single adults for several years. Their teaching has touched the lives of numerous people who will continue to remember their service. Even though Lois was busy at working outside the home and serving her church, she was successful in being a loving wife and mother. Dianne, her daughter, benefited from Lois' love in the form of sewing cloths for those special occasions, cooking those special meals of years past, and providing that necessary guidance to assist Dianne in her growth in becoming an adult. Lois was preceded in death by Bill Woodlief, her husband; Victor and Shallie Jean, her parents; Carl Jean and Charles Jean, her brothers; and LaVern (Jean) Stocks, her sister. Lois is survived by Dianne and Wayne Proctor, her daughter and son-in-law, of Nacogdoches; and Robert and Sue Woodlief, her brother-in-law and his wife, of North Carolina; and several cousins. The family is grateful to Ruth Cowart and the many Hospice workers who provided Lois Woodlief with special care and love during the last days of her life. |

Obituary: Mary Elizabeth "BIB" Jameson Woodley (formerly of Terrell) passed away on 6, 2010 in Richardson at the age of 96. Elizabeth was born 1, 1914 in Loraine, Texas to Rev. Charles E. Jameson and Hunter Goodwin Jameson. Elizabeth graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas in 1935. She married Noel Woodley in Shamrock, Texas on 9, 1936. For many years she owned and operated the Elizabeth Woodley Insurance Agency in Muleshoe, Texas. In 1968 she wrote the programs and funding grants for nine counties in the Texas Panhandle and became the first Executive Director of Central Plains Community Mental /Mental Retardation located in Plainview, Texas. In 1971 she moved to Terrell, Texas where Mr. Woodley became Assistant Superintendant of Terrell State Hospital. lived on grounds until his retirement in 1980 and continued to make their home in Terrell. Elizabeth was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church and over her lifetime served her church in many ways as a school Teacher, Communion Steward, Organist, and Choir Director. Noel and Bib loved to fish, play golf, and travel, visiting some 30 countries prior to his death in 1998. She moved to Richardson, Texas to be with her daughter in 2004. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Noel Woodley, her parents the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Jameson, brothers James Alfred (Ox) Jameson and Dr. Jamie S. Jameson, and sister Ellen Ann Clements. She is survived by her daughter Ann Hanks, granddaughter Noelle Hanks Benson and husband Terry, grandson Miles M. Hanks and wife Amy, six great-grandchildren Ashley, Colin, Mackenna, Grace, Sierra, and Sable as well as two nieces, many great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at First United Methodist Church Richardson in the Chapel on , 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Faith Presbyterian Hospice for their care and devotion to their patients. |

Obituary: DENISON- Jean Woodley was born 17, 1918 to Walter and Elizabeth Christman McKee in the Willow Springs community West of Pottsboro, Texas. She passed away , 25, 2016 at Beacon Hill in Denison, Texas. services are , 28, 2016 at 10:30 A.M., at Bratcher Chapel with Todd Catteau officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., prior to the service. A private burial will follow. graduating from Denison High School in 1936, Jean worked for S.H. Kress & CO. as her first job. Later she was employed as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone and then went to work as a switchboard operator for the U.S. Corp of Engineers, who built the Denison Dam. She worked at Perrin AFB until it closed in 1971. Jean then got her real estate license and worked in that field until retirement. Jean married Claude Woodley 8, 1951 in Denison, Texas and they were married almost 50 years at the time of his death in 2001. She was a charter member of Park Avenue Church of Christ, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 1290, Disabled American Veterans Association, and Purple Heart Auxiliary. Jean is survived by her brother, Leo McKee, many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Claude Woodley, sisters Fannie Hite, Pearl Hall and Cleo Morrow, brothers Claude McKee and Earl McKee. Those who knew Jean will have the memory of a generous, gracious and delightful personality who maintained a positive and undefeated spirt. Her favorite scripture: This is the day the Lord has made.
