Obituary: Andrea Tachman Woo died on , 24, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Andrea was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, but lived all of her adult life in her adopted home of San Antonio, Texas. graduating from high school, she attended the University of Missouri, Columbia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, she attended St. MaryÂs University School of Law and was awarded a Juris Doctor degree. While attending law school, she met her husband James and they were married in 1989. Andrea was engaged in the private practice of law for nearly twenty years but left to devote herself to what she considered to be the more important work of being a fulltime mother to her beloved son Cameron. In addition to being a fulltime mother, she provided the love and emotional support that made it possible for James to pursue and achieve success in his own law practice. James attributes much of his success to Andrea because she always believed in him more than he believed in himself. The primary source of the cancer was unknown to AndreaÂs healthcare providers. The loves in AndreaÂs life, however, were known to everyone. Her greatest loves were her family/friends and cooking. These two passions frequently merged and resulted in wonderful dishes and baked goods lovingly prepared from scratch in her kitchen. Her greatest pleasure in life was entertaining family/friends in her home. Nothing brought more joy to her than watching her family and guests relaxing and laughing around her kitchen table while enjoying her cooking. Friends and family alike came to trust that if there was any sort of gathering, AndreaÂs cakes and cookies would certainly be there for all to enjoy. Andrea always baked cakes and cookies for Jim to serve at mediations he conducted. He often attributed his ability to get cases successfully settled to having ÂMomÂs Magic Muffins to serve to the parties to improve their mood and disposition. Andrea also devoted herself to volunteer work at the schools Cameron attended. Teachers and staff at CameronÂs schools thought of Andrea as a fixture and relied upon her to do whatever needed to be done. From installing landscaping to organizing the school carnival, or simply making photocopies, Andrea was always there to take charge and get the job done. Her volunteer work resulted in her being awarded honorary lifetime membership in the Texas PTA. Andrea is survived by her devoted husband James and beloved son Cameron. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Toy Woo Garcia Ray, Fay L. Woo, and Mae Woo Lee Tom; sister, Lenora Donahue; nephews Bryan Lee, David Lee Casey, Christopher Garcia, and Brendan Donahue. Obituary: Yeuk Wai Wong (88) passed away on 28, 2016, funeral services will be held at Sparkman on Greenville in Richardson at 3pm on Sat 2, 2016. Yeuk Wai Wong was born in Guanxi Wuzhou, China in 1927 and was the eleventh of fourteen children. He left China as an adolescent to escape the war in China settling in Hong Kong to start a new life. In Hong Kong he met his future wife of 50 years, Pui Hing Leung, and they were married in 1966. In Hong Kong, he worked in the Import/Export Business and as a Driving Instructor. having three children, they decided to move to the U.S. to provide a better future for their family and thus he apprenticed to become a chef while still in Hong Kong. In 1973, he moved his family to Dallas, TX to start his new life and to provide more opportunities for his familys future. With his chef skills, he partnered with five of his siblings to establish South China Restaurant, which eventually became the first Dim Sum restaurant in Dallas. Yeuk Wai continued in the restaurant industry with other family and ultimately retired in 1993. In retirement, he enjoyed watching his granddaughters, listening to his favorite classical music and cooking for family. Yeuk Wai is remembered as a quiet and reserved man, who loved his family, and worked and sacrificed for their future. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pui Hing Wong; his three sons: David and his wife Mai along with their daughters Samantha and Claire; Kenneth; and Wilfred and his wife Emily. Visitation will be from 6-8:00p.m., , 1, 2016 at Sparkman Richardson . services will be 3:00p.m., , 2, 2016 at Sparkman Richardson . Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Reception will follow at Golden Joy Restaurant 1475 Beltline Rd #260 in Richardson. |

Winston is survived by his 3 sons, Matthew, Mark and Luke; his sisters, Arlene Chang (husband Yi-Han), Eleanor (deceased) and Sandra; his brother, Clinton, his daughter-in-law's Kelly Wong and Douniazed Wong; his 5 grand kids, Zayne, Soraya, Griffin, Aiden and Ava; his ex-wife Annette; and many close relatives and friends. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Winston was the son of Milton (deceased) and May Wong (deceased). He spent his first 35 years living in Jamaica. In his early days Winston was an avid tennis player, where he won several prestigious tournaments. He attended Woolmer's High School. Woolmer's, Winston helped his father run his growing import/export business. Winston's focus, vision and determination lead him to become a very successful business man. Winston built many close and cherished friendships throughout his life. In 1977, Winston moved his family from Kingston to Miami where he continued his successful business. Winston, had a tremendous passion for tennis and had the opportunity to attend many major tournaments. He loved his family above anything else and was the epitome of a true provider. He enjoyed many weekends at Turtle Towers Beach Club with his family. Many hours of joy and laughter were spent playing mahjong with close friends. Traveling was another passion Winston enjoyed. He had the opportunity to travel and experience many countries around the world. Italy being on of his favorites. A visitation will be held on , 23, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at Forest Park Westheimer .
