Obituary: Lorna Denice Wisdom, 55, passed away on , 25, 2011 at Nacogdoches Medical . She was born on 30, 1955 in Richmond, Texas to Feris Jo and Barbara Joy Frazar. She was raised in Richmond and later moved to the Martinsville Community to be near her family and enjoy the countryside. She became an administrative assistant at the SFA Physical Plant in 2000. Employees thought of her as family. She wrote the newsletter for the department and in the course of her work, got to know more about each of them. She had a great memory, which made her a great story teller. She loved living in the country, watching the world from her back porch and hand feeding the cows that she personally named. She was an antique collector and enjoyed traveling with friends and family in search of new finds. She was creative, enjoyed art, the ballet, and cross-stitching. She looked forward to her annual cross-stitch and quilting retreat with a group of loyal friends. She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nacogdoches where she served in many leadership roles. Family was the most important thing to her and she treated everyone the same. She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; William and Yandell Frazar and William and Odessa Cox, and her nephew, Charles J. Frazar. She is survived by her sons; Ryan Feris Wisdom and Eric William Wisdom and his wife Mandy, grandchildren; Jacob Wisdom, Taylor Knight and Andrew Wisdom, her parents, two sisters; Sheri Talbot and her husband James, Lori McKeown and her husband John, her brother; Duane Frazar, nieces; Jessica Lynn McKeown, Rebecca Talbot, Rachel Talbot, Lorna Elise Talbot, two nephews; Joshua Frazar and his wife Rebecca, Tyler Frazar, and a great-niece, Haylie Talbot. services have been scheduled for , 28, 2011 at 5:30pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas, with Isaac Heath officiating. Obituary: JoAnn Chovanec Wisdom passed away May 3, 2010 at the age of 61. She was born in El Campo, TX to Velma Kasparek Chovanec and the late Joseph Chovanec, Jr. She moved to Point Comfort as a child and lived there until her marriage, when she moved to Olivia. She was a retired RN. Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Wisdom; daughters, Andrea Dobbratz (Daniel), Jodi Persilver and Ashley Wisdom all of Port Lavaca; sons, Jimmy Wisdom and Jerrod Wisdom both of Kansas and grandchildren include, Tyler Persilver, Ashleigh Persilver, Hailey Dobbratz, Kelsea Dobbratz, Jacob Wisdom and Jamie Mendenhall. No matter what she had going on she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dobbratz, Matt Persilver, Skeeter Graveson, Jimmy Wisdom, Jerrod Wisdom , Joe Genzer. Visitation will be held , May 6, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial . services will be held , May 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Richardson-Colonial Chapel. Interment will follow in Olivia . He was a retired equipment operator for Halliburton, Inc. and a member of the Lavaca 36 AF 7 AM Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his sisters, Betty Sutton (JL) and Virginia Franklin (Clark), sons, Jimmy Wisdom (Charlene) and Jerrod Wisdom (Jodi) both of Kansas; daughters, Andrea Dobbratz (Daniel), Jodi Burriola (Billy) and Ashley Graveson (Skeeter) all of Port Lavaca; grandchildren; Jacob Wisdom (Samantha), Jamie Shannon, Tyler Persilver, Ashleigh Persilver, Hailey Dobbratz, Kelsea Dobbratz, Avery Graveson and Addisyn Graveson; and his great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
