Obituary: Aaron "Wayne" Windham, 70, of the Saron Community, was born 28, 1939 and passed away , 15, 2009. He was the son of the late Vergal and Ruby Windham of Bon Wier. Mr. Windham loved sitting on his porch, enjoying his grandchildren, and going to Bon Wier. He retired from Temple-Inland. Mr. Windham served his country in the United States Army as an MP. His survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lois Windham; son, Dewey Windham; son and daughter-in-law, Adrian and Carrie Windham; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Windham, all of Saron Community; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Neal Jaeger of Mesquite; brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and Diannah Windham and sister, Lanora Szemborski, all of Bon Wier; grandchildren, Alisha Windham of Nacogdoches, Dalton Windham of Lufkin, Tyler Windham, Lauren Windham, Amber Nelson, Katy Windham and Morgan Windham, all of Saron Community, Kasey and Melanie Jaeger of Mesquite; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Korey and Garon Nelson of Saron Community; mother-in-law, Opal Day; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family members who loved him dearly. In addition to his parents, Mr. Windham was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Windham. Pallbearers will be George Szemborski, Paul Szemborski, Gary Szemborski, Corky Windham, Colby Mechling, Darryl Day, Eric Day and Tim Vincent. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Day, Cody Day, Ernest Day, Tyler Windham, Dalton Windham and Jason Nelson. Services for Mr. Windham will be held at 11:00 a.m. , 18, 2009 in the Gipson Chapel, with Bro. Cary Modisett and Bro. Jerry Pinner officiating. Obituary: James Kenneth Winder passed away 13, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born May 7, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Clark Virgil Winder and Mamie Jewel Hoffman Winder. James was a lifelong Houston resident. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served four years. At the time of his honorable discharge in 1965 he had achieved the rank of Corporal. Obituary: Ret. CMSgt. Bobby Glenn Winder Bobby Winder passed away 14th peacefully in his home at the age of 87. He was born 4, 1930 in Caro, Texas to Robert Preston and Jewel Miriam Hawthorne Winder. Bobby was the second of five children. He attended and completed school in Central Heights, Texas. service is scheduled for , 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors. Rev. Don Copeland of Rusk will be officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill in Nacogdoches. The United States Air Force, Masonic Lodge No. 45, and Patriot Guard riders will perform special honors at the cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation at the funeral home on , 18, 2017, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Bobby joined the Air Force at age 17 in of 1948 during the Korean War conflict. He was in the Strategic Air Command stationed out of Barksdale AFB in Bossier City, LA. He also served in the Vietnam War from 1968-1969 and was stationed at that time in Udorn, Thailand. He served a total of 26 years, retiring in 1972. Bobby married Myra Beth Wilburn on 6, 1955. had 2 daughters and lived in several states over the next 26 years including San Juan, Puerto Rico, Greencastle, PA, and Anchorage, AK. In between deployments, they returned to Barksdale AFB. retiring from the Air Force, he moved his family to Rusk, TX to begin ranching and farming and started his civilian career working at Rusk Federal and Citizens Bank. Eventually he became a business owner together with his wife, and they opened and worked side by side at West-Wind Copper and Aluminum, Inc. and later West-Wind Quick Lube. Some of his favorite memories include the times he spent as an avid bass fisherman and hunting deer, squirrel, and pheasants. He enjoyed a good dice game as well as dominoes. Family and friends were very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. Those who knew him could tell you about his deep love for his country and he served it with pride. He was a Master Mason in Euclid Lodge No.45 AF & AM of Rusk, TX. He became a Master Mason on 10, 1956 in Arlington Heights Lodge No. 1184 AF & AM of Fort Worth, Tx. Later, he received his Master Scottish Rite Mason 32nd Degree on 14th, 1968 and held membership in the Valley of Harrisburg Pennsylvania of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. He was a member of the Sharon Shriners in Tyler, TX. He is survived by wife of 62 years, Myra of Rusk, TX; two daughters, Teri Glynne Dyer and husband Johnny, of Baton Rouge, LA, and Monique Harrison of Livingston, TX; grandchildren, Misti and Brandon Hudnall of Rusk, TX; Wesley and Chad Dyer of Jacksonville, TX; Adrianne and Gary Don Murphy of Livingston, TX; Beth and Christopher Evans of Frisco, TX; Ashli and Jonathan Deshotel of Hessmer, LA; and Tres and Lauren Harrison of Livingston, TX; 16 great grandchildren survive with one on the way, and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by siblings Mavis Clifton and Sue Sanders of Nacogdoches, TX; Rho and Jausell Winder of Caro, TX; and John and Linda Winder of Angleton, TX; Sister-in-laws Florence Bostick of Gallatin, TX; Maxine and husband, Jerry Don Pierce of Rusk, TX; brother-in-law Ray and wife, Jan Wilburn of Lake Charles, LA; aunt, Dorothy Anglin of Cleveland, TX; special friend, Bob Sisk; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and son in law, Jamie Harrison. Pallbearers will be Christopher Evans, Gary Don Murphy, Bill Tosh, Jerry Don Pierce, Forrest Dyess, Deaton Goff, Wesley Dyer, and Jonathan Deshotel.
