Obituary: God called one of his most faithful warriors home. Martin Steven Wilson went to be with his Lord on 27, 2013 while surrounded by loving family and friends. Marty (as he was called) was born on 24, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ernest and Edna Wilson. He spent his childhood with his family, living in Utah, Montana and eventually settling in Wheatridge, Colorado a community on the outskirts of Denver. He graduated from Wheatridge High School in 1964 while working as a supervisor of a cleaning crew. He would laugh and say that he became a supervisor before he was old enough to drive the work truck. He had a very strong work ethic and didn hesitate to state that he had been working since he was 11 years old. He and his older brother Mike had a paper route that was considered the largest in that area at that time. Shortly after graduation he established his independence by moving into his own place. He joined the Air Force in of 1966 and was stationed at AFB in California where he met Kimbrel Wilkerson, also in the Air Force. were married on 1, 1967, shortly before his deployment to Vietnam. He served as an air cargo specialist. He returned from across the pond and completed his enlistment at Air Force in Riverside, California. Upon completing his service, he moved his family to San Angelo, Texas where he worked for Foremost Dairies, Holsom Bakery and Budweiser. He ended his work history with Jim Bass Ford where he served as Service Manager for 20 years. He was a very civic-minded person. He was active in the Sundown Lions Club and served as Vice-President of the local chapter of the Vietnam Veterans Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Kim and brother, Mitchell. He is survived by wife, Sharon Wilson; Daughter, Michele Batten and husband, William of San Angelo; daughter, Terri Gober and husband, Bill of Garland and son Doug, of Rocksprings; brother, Mike Wilson of Grand Junction, Colorado. Sons, Blair and wife, Kelly, of Snyder; Blain McGinnis and wife, Stacy, of Bronte and Bowie McGinnis of Lubbock. Nine Grandchildren, Brandon Batten, Kylia McGinnis, Bradley McGinnis, Chelsea McGinnis, Crystal McGinnis, Austin McGinnis , Ashley McGinnis, Newt McGinnis and Will McGinnis. One great-granddaughter, Ambree McGinnis as well as numerous aunts, cousins and nieces. A celebration of Martys life will be held in the home in Bronte, TX on , 19th at 2:00pm. Obituary: Martha Jane (Henderson, DuBois, Parsons) Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas went home to be with the Lord on 4th 2016. She was born Martha Jane Henderson on May 23rd, 1934, to Emmett Elmer Henderson and Jessie May Henderson of Topeka, Kansas. She was proceeded in death by both her parents and her sister, Linda Lou (Henderson, Corner) Davis. She is survived by her three children, Denise DuBois Lakers and husband, Rich Lakers; James (Jim) Paul DuBois Jr; and Parry Dean DuBois and wife Melinda Jester DuBois; 6 grandchildren - Candace (DuBois) Jones; Kristina (DuBois) Franklin; Tricia (DuBois) Garcia; Jennifer (DuBois) Huff; Kelaney Lakers; and Grayson Joseph Lakers), 4 great-grandchildren- Aubree and Hayden Jones; Emelyn (Emie) and Amelia (Millie) Franklin, as well as several nieces, nephews. great-nieces and great-nephews. Martha graduated from Central High School in Topeka Kansas, and married James Paul DuBois. Paul was a preacher for several Church of Christ churches over the years of their marriage, which placed both he and Martha (Marty) in their respective roles of sharing the love of the Lord and the gospel to many. housed foster children; family friends without jobs; and often fed and/or clothed those much less fortunate than they. Subsequently Martha worked for the IRS and in the grocery business. She worked hard to support three children (often with two jobs). her retirement, she spent many years being 'MeMaw' to her grandchildren and providing many hours of being the 'listening ear' to her kids, grandkids, and anyone needing one, while always reminding them of the Lord's word and guidance. You always knew where you stood with Martha , but you also always knew her love ran deep. Far deeper than most, which means she had an immense ability to show compassion. To hurt when you hurt, and share your elation and joy when you were happy and joyful. She was emotional and dramatic, often teased by her children and grandchildren, but done so in the most endearing of ways. Why? Because she helped us all be human. To be honest. To be angry. To be passionate. To pursue our dreams. To love like the Lord loves his own, unconditionally, and no matter the circumstance and trials of life. She knew all about trials as was evidenced by the bookmark that her family found in her Bible - placed in the book of Job. God gave this world a wonderful gift on May, 23rd 1934 and , 4th 2016 He decided He needed her back in His loving arms. But he left us part of her in our hearts and we will cherish her legacy until we all, too, are with Him in Paradise. "The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord"-Job 1;21 A small gathering to honor Martha was held at the home of a family member on 5th. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens in Topeka, Kansas at a future date. |

She was born to the late Alvie Dud ONeal and Elizabeth Bennie Walker ONeal in Hagensport, Texas on May 27, 1934. She married Clifford Wayne Wilson on 4, 1951 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Martha was a very active member of Southern Oaks Baptist Church, a member of the local Red Hatters Club and a member of Phi Sigma Alpha Sorority. Over the last several years she became an avid Texas Ranger fan. She is survived by husband of 63 years Clifford Wayne Wilson of Tyler, 2 daughters Brenda DuBois and husband Donnie of Lumberton, Texas; Beth Marie Eschberger and husband Rodney of Tyler; 1 son Stephen Wilson of Lewisville. 1 brother James ONeal and wife Jane of Cibolo, TX ; 1 sister Barbara Winn and husband Marshall of Mesquite. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Devin Alvey, Marty Winn, Rodney Eschberger, Chase Wilson, Shane Wilson, and Donnie DuBois.
