Obituary: Christine Mandros Wilson Christine Mandros Wilson joined her Heavenly Father on , 3, 2016. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Christine was born on 21, 1942, in Charleston, West Virginia. She graduated from Marshall University with a degree in education, but spent her life as a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, keeping everyone laughing and on their toes. Christine is survived by her loving husband, Larry Sr.; her children, Fran Skeete, Larry (Bub) Wilson Jr. and Johann (John) Beissel, her miracle son; grandchildren, Adam Skeete and Ashley Skeete, Larry Jr.s fiancé, Stacy Klinegardner and her daughters, Kelby Lanier and Baylee Lanier; and numerous family and friends. Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Mandros; brothers, Platon Mandros and Bill Mandros. The family would like to thank the Lake Jackson EMS, Life Flight, Memorial Herman, the Houston Hospice staff and all of our friends and family for their prayers. A memorial service to celebrate Christines life will be held on , 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapelwood Methodist Church in Lake Jackson. Obituary: Christine (Christel) Maria Elisabeth Boden Wilson Christel Wilson died , 11, 2011 in a local hospital after a short illness. Services will be 1pm , 14, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers Chapel followed by graveside services at the Crawford at 3:00pm. Officiating will be Dr. Jim Ellor. Visitation will be 4-6pm on at the funeral home. Christel Wilson was born 5, 1924 in Bad Honningen, Germany to Gottfried and Elisabeth Stieffenhofer Boden. She married the love of her life, Desmond William (Bill) Wilson, in 1952. Two children were born to this union, Helen Wilson Harris and Andy Wilson. Christel Wilson completed school in Bad Honningen, Germany and completed training then to become a haushalthelferin, household help for families dealing with illness. During the Second World War she was sent to serve as a helper at a farm and later worked at a factory making first aid kits. She worked hard all of her life helping support the family through her sewing, knitting and macramé. Eventually she opened her own ceramics business, Ceramic World, which she ran successfully for ten years before retiring. Helping others was her avocation. She quietly and without herald gave of herself and her means to anyone in need. Christel loved to have fun. She enjoyed square dancing in Germany and in Killeen. She was an active member of the Liederkranz, German ladies singing group. She enjoyed being with her Germany lady friends and talking in rapid fire mixture of German and English. Chris Wilson had a great sense of humor, strongly held opinions, strong work ethic, love of reading, music, travel, and flowers. Christel Wilson is survived by her husband, Bill Wilson, and three children, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of friends. Her children include Andy Wilson and his wife Carmen, daughter Tammy Moore her children MacKenzie, LJ, and Ty, and daughter Tracy Soto and her husband Jorge and their children Alexis and Nicolas; Armin Weissenfels and his wife Patti and children Hannah, Tobias, Carsten and Fritzi; and Helen Wilson Harris and her husband Don Harris and their daughter Beth and their son Daniel and his wife and children Stephanie, Sophia and Nikolai. Obituary: Chester J. Wilson, 89, passed away 10, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. His visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., , 15th at Chapel Hill-Butler , 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. services will be held at 1:00 p.m., , 16th at the funeral home. Interment with Honors will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517; Topeka, Kansas 66675. Chester was born 19, 1925 in Bates , Missouri to Lafe and Eunice Wilson. He graduated from high school, worked for a time, and then joined the Army, serving during World War II in Italy. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth on 15, 1951 and enjoyed many years of marriage, before her passing in 1997. Chester worked for several trucking companies, Rock Island and Ideal Trucking, where he retired. retirement, Chester worked part time at the Woodlands and Trans Am trucking before moving to Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, where he worked at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track for the last thirteen years of his life. Chester was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 41 for many years. Chester was a hard-worker, but he also enjoyed taking time to relax on his porch swing with a fresh-picked apricot and a good book. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Elizabeth A. Wilson, his son, Pete Wilson, his great-grandson, Michael Johnson, his step-daughter, Joyce Molina, and his siblings, Mary Proffitt, Kenneth Wilson, and Doris Nininger. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Torres; his loving niece, Georgie Ann Waldrop; his grandchildren, Mia Perez, Chana Navarro, Angela Nielson (Cory), and Michael Gray (Denise); seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, with one on the way; his sister-in-law, Pearl Wilson; his brother-in-law, John Nininger; beloved friends, Leonard Turano, Tamara Riccardelli and many other family members and friends.
