Obituary: Audrey W. Wilson, age 84, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on 30, 2012. She was born in Pelly, Texas to Sidney and Hazel Woodall. Audrey spent over 20 years in real estate and was an active volunteer throughout her lifetime in many organizations including Alamo Heights United Methodist Church (over 40 years), CAM (Christian Assistance Ministries), San Antonio Conservation Society, Alamo City Republican Women and The American Red Cross. She was also politically active and worked on many state and local campaigns and elections. Audrey made many places her home throughout her lifetime but San Antonio was her home for the last forty years. She is preceded in death by husband, Colonel (Ret) Charles D. Wilson, sister, Laura Ann Janzen and brother-in-law Robert Bob Janzen. Audrey loved all of her family dearly and is survived by her children, Don Wilson and fiancée, Yolanda Mireles; Sally Wilson Smith; Bill Wilson and wife, Pam. Her nieces and their husbands; Vicki and Col. Rick Warner, USAF (Ret) and Ginni and LtCol. Chuck Thomas, USAF (Ret). Her Grand Family, grandson-in-law, Doug Gilmour; granddaughters, Lesleigh Gilmour, Sydney Smith, Brittany Wilson; Grand nieces and nephew, Robert Thomas, Sara Warner, Deborah Warner and Karalynn Thomas. Her best friends and constant companions Sandy and Baxter. Audrey is fine, just fine. Visitation will be on , 9, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough. Obituary: Aubrey Charles Wilson of San Antonio, TX died 1, 2011 at the age of 91. He was born on 12, 1919 to the late Aubrey Carroll and Mala Wilson. His younger brother, Chester H. Wilson also preceded him in death. Aubrey graduated from Jefferson High School in San Antonio and the University of Texas in Austin, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy in a rocket training group during WWII and was stationed at Marthas Vineyard in MA. He received a letter of appreciation from President Harry S. Truman. He was employed in aircraft engineering with the Glenn L. Martin . Upon his return to San Antonio, he worked at Bell Kotzebue Contracting & Distributing as Chief Estimator. There he met and fell in love with Dixie Krowl. were married on 3, 1960. Alfred A. Buddy Mueller and Aubrey founded Mueller & Wilson Inc. The company has been involved in major construction projects throughout the city, such as the San Antonio Express News, Olmos Tower, the San Antonio Toyota Tundra Production Facility, medical facilities, such as Methodist Hospital and at military installations, including Lackland, Ft. Sam Houston, and Kelly Air Force Base which included work on a jet engine test cell. He also created an infrastructure for the Hemisfair facilities. He was an active member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He was also active in the stock market, invested in oil and gas exploration and enjoyed managing his stock portfolio until his death. Aubrey was a caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He enjoyed investing time and energy in the lives of the children in the family. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Carol Wilson, two sons, Ronald Charles, and Brian Carroll Wilson and his wife Patti; two grandsons, Craig Alexander and Scott Anthony ; niece, Janice Butler; nephew, Richard Wilson; mother-in -law, Zorah Krowl; sister-in-law, Darlene (Al), and her children, James Lee Kirchner and Cynthia McCaskey; brother-in-law, Ivan (Sharon) Krowl, and his children, Sharon Lynn LeClair and Kathryn Michelle Cain, and eight great-nieces and nephews. He was a member of Manor Baptist Church. He and Dixie with the church group toured the Holy Land. The Wilsons loved the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico, and enjoyed hiking & camping. He loved spending time at Rockport, fishing & boating in Copano Bay. He enjoyed photography and was skilled at it. Visitation will be 5-7p.m., , 5, 2011 at Sunset . Service will be at 12 noon, , 6, 2011 at Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. |

Entombment will be at Memorial Park by Memorial Park , 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, Texas. Aubert Leroy Wilson, 90 of Amarillo, formerly of Grants, New Mexico passed away on 16, 2015. He was the youngest of four children of Aubert H. and Emily Wilson. He was born in Colorado and moved to the Lazbuddie area in a covered wagon. Leroy graduated from Lazbuddie High School in 1942. He married Leta Faye Barton in of 1953 and moved to Grants, New Mexico in 1957 to work in the Uranium Industry and returned to Texas in 1983. He and Leta raised their family in Grants, New Mexico. Leroy enjoyed fishing and inkering and drilled water wells in the surrounding areas. He enjoyed telling people he was 5 20 to see them figure out that he was 6 8 tall. He always wore a hard hat to protect his head from bumping door frames and was called Little Willie or Roof Jack by his co-workers and was called Boom-Boom by his grandchildren. Aubert was preceded to Heaven by his wife of 56 years, Leta; his son, Alan and granddaughter, Stephanie Dawn James; also by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Kristie Hiles and husband Bert of Grants, New Mexico and JoAn James and husband Jimmy S. of Milan, New Mexico and an adopted daughter, Lana Cline of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jesse James of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jeremy James and Shania Medina of Grants, New Mexico, James Hiles and Rebecca Macias of Grants, New Mexico, Adrianna Hiles of Grants, New Mexico and an adopted granddaughter, Savannah Cline of Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Destiny Macias, Luciano Hiles and Payton James all of Grants, New Mexico and adopted great-grandchildren, Karli Myers and Whitlee, Caylon and Brayden Stacey all of Arkansas; his constant companion, Cory, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family thanks Professional Case Management Nurses, Becky Porter, Jan Lane and Patricia Miranda for the loving care that they gave to him for the last five years. |

Obituary: Anthony Tony Wilson, M.D. was born on 16, 1927 in Galveston, Texas and died at home in San Antonio on , 30, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christina and Nicholas Wilson as well as his two siblings, Angelina and Nick, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Merlene Parker Wilson; three children: daughter, Amy Wilson and partner Sherri Opiel; daughter, Sarah Neathery; son, Parker Wilson and wife, Shelley Faris; two grandsons, Stephen Anthony Neathery and Brian Kyle Neathery. getting his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin, Tony graduated from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1953. In 1961, the newly married couple moved to San Antonio where Tony established a very successful Ear, Nose and Throat practice that spanned over 30 years. Tony loved his family, his practice of medicine, hunting, fishing and restoring classic cars. He will be missed by all who knew him. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Cancer society. |
