Obituary: Margaret Bosshardt Pace Willson died , May 03, 2006 at the age of 86. She was born on 9, 1919 in San Antonio, Texas. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Hettie K. Bosshardt and Frank John Bosshardt, her husband Robert Willson, and her grandson David Christopher Goldsbury. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Marie Pace, her son Paul David Pace and his wife Peggy Pace, grandchildren Mardie Goldsbury, Maggie Boosalis, Mason Pace, Bradley Pace, Katie Pace and great granddaughter, Ava Marie Pace. Margaret received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Newcomb of Tulane University and did postgraduate studies in Architecture, Urban Studies, Business Administration and City Planning at the University of Texas, San Antonio and Trinity University. MargaretÂs special love was teaching art and was beloved by her many students at San Antonio , the Hill Country Arts Foundation, the University of the Incarnate Word. She was a well-known water color artist with works shown in the United States and in her second home, Venice, Italy. Margaret was originator, founder and Member of the Executive Board of the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts as well as a charter and signature member of the Board of the Texas Watercolor Society. She has served on the Boards the San Antonio Museum of Art, the San Antonio Festival, the Hill Country Arts Foundation and the Witte Museum, and was a member of the McNay Museum Council. Margaret was the former owner and Chairman of the Board of Pace Picante Pace Foods, Inc. and in her Âspare time was active on the Board of Governors of Tulane University and Newcomb Alumnae Association and past president of the Tulane Alumni Association. Margaret loved her family and her art and spent much time painting with her beloved husband and glass artist, Bob Willson in Venice and with her dear friends at her home in Aspen, Colorado. She was happiest surrounded by her children and doting grandchildren and never passed up an opportunity to tell stories about her childhood in Germany or her days living in the Âcountry in North San Antonio. She always had ample art supplies for her grandchildren and for the many children from the neighborhood who visited her. Margaret was a fixture of the San Antonio art community and two of her mosaic murals grace the walls of St. LukeÂs Episcopal Church and the Bishop Jones . Margaret loved to be around people and her staff, Kathy, Lucia, Alma and Maria ÂBarcellonaÂ, have been part of her extended family and were invaluable in her care and entertainment and in helping her maintain her joie de vivre. The honorary pallbearers are her long-time friends Taliaferro Cooper, Baker Duncan, John Jockusch, Jean McPherson, and Juan Wilson.

Obituary: James M. Willson Jr. passed away 9, 2016. Jimmy was born 30,1921 in Hale , Texas to J.M..Willson Sr. and Mavis Terry Willson. He completed secondary education at Floydada High School and college education in accounting at S.M.U. He served in the army in WW II and married Anne Oerry Newman in 1946. were in the lumber and hardware business in Floydada until 1989. He served many public service jobs during his life including Methodist Lay Leader, city mayor as well as being a 50 year plus member of Boy Scouts, Rotary International and Lions Club among many other organizations. His first love was work on behalf of Freemasonry and its charities. Jimmy served as Grandmaster of Texas Masons as well as an officer in four national masonic organizations. Dad truly believed that ....no man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by five children: Mac Willson, Linda Noy and husband Nick, Jane Traugott and husband Joe, John and Terry. Obituary: Floydada-Dennis Jan Willson, age 72, of Floydada, passed away 23, 2016, in Plainview care in Plainview, Texas. Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. , 27, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Floydada with Pastor Tim Franks officiating. Burial will follow at the Floyd Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., , 26, 2016, at Floydadas Moore-Rose . are under the personal care of Moore-Rose in Floydada. Jan was born 11, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas. Jan, also known as Granjan, served many roles to many during her lifetime. Jan cared deeply for her family. She raised three children and was devoted to her husband Mac, her extended family, and she loved taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren. Jan was an active member of First United Methodist and First Baptist churches in Floydada. She served as a youth and adult school teacher. Professionally, she was a long time educator at Floydada High School in which she taught over 30 years, teaching generations of students as an English teacher and librarian, creating many life-long learners. She also volunteered her time with Christian Womens Job Corps. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis, in 1976, mother-in-law Anne Willson in 2000, and a nephew, Neil Dempsey, in 1984. Jan is survived by her husband Mac. Together they shared 7 children and 15 grandchildren. Daughter Jamie Thompson and husband Greg of Dumas; daughter Joey Ray and husband Chris of Panhandle; son Josh Thayer and wife Shelby of Mansfield; Jill Willson of Indianapolis; Willson of Corpus Christi; Jane Medrano and husband Jerry of Milford; and Penny Nielsen and husband Hugh of Gatesville. Grandchildren Jacob, Meghan and Luke Ray; Tucker, Teagan, Travers, Titus and Tatum Thompson; Elijah, Ava, and Samuel Thayer; Jerri Anne and Cody Medrano; and Dutch and Lily Nielsen. Jan is also survived by her mother, Betsy, of Floydada; brother Bob Dempsey and wife Lana of Amarillo; sister; Patty Baker and husband Mac of Las Vegas, NV; brother Jim Dempsey and wife Gail of Austin; and father-in-law, Jimmy Willson, of Floydada. The family would like to thank so many friends for the prayers, visits, food, and support. We are very appreciative of the personal and gentle care provided by the medical professionals of Covenant Palliative Unit of Lubbock, Dr. Oblender, Dr Tafur of Joe Arrington Cancer of Lubbock, and Dr. Swanson of West Texas Family Medicine in Floydada. She graduated from Hendricks High School in 1947 and received a Bachelor of Arts from Macalester in 1951. In 1949 she married Clarke Willson at the Hendricks Methodist Church. The Willsons moved to Waseca, MN in 1953 where they lived for 25 years. While there Dawn worked at the Waseca Memorial Hospital as a medical technologist. In 1979 they moved to Sparta, NJ and in 1992 to San Antonio. Her husband of 56 years, Clarke, predeceased her 12, 2006. Obituary: Clarke Willson, age 84, passed away on 12, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas. Born 10, 1921 in Mower , Minnesota to the late Clarke M. Willson and Flora Swering Willson, he attended country school and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1939. He enrolled at Macalester , St. Paul, MN in 1940 and attended there until 1943 when called to active duty from the Army Air Force Reserve in which he had enlisted the previous . completing training as a radio operator he was accepted in the Communications Cadet program from which he was commissioned 7, 1944. He received further training as an Electronics Officers. Early in 1945 he was ordered to the ETO and was subsequently assigned to the 670th Squadron, 416th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force. He was discharged from active duty in 1946 and that fall returned to Macalester from which he graduated in 1948 with a major in economics and minor in physics. He remained in the Air Force Reserve from which he retired 20, 1968 with the rank of Major. On 21, 1949 he married Dawn Heinzen of Hendricks, MN. On graduating from Macalester he entered employment with The Dayton , Minneapolis, MN as an Assistant Department Manager. In the fall of 1953 he joined the E.F. Johnson , Waseca, MN and subsequently filled the position of Component Product Manager. In 1978 he accepted a position as Marketing Manager of Johanson Manufacturing Corp., Boonton, New Jersey, from which he retired 1988. He was a member of the San Pedro Presbyterian Church, San Antonio, TX, The Society of Mayflower Descendent 11th generation descendant of Gov. William Bradford, Tuscan #77 Masonic Lodge, Waseca, MN, and Reserve Officers Association. Mr. Willson is survived by his wife Dawn, two daughters, Marcia married to Doug White of Eden Prairie, MN, and Linda of San Antonio; and sister, Margaret married to Norris Johnson of River Falls, Wisconsin.

Obituary: San Antonio resident Michael Christopher Willshire, 68, passed away due to complications from Alzheimers on Nov 13th with his family by his side.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on , Nov 18th at Sunset North , 910 N. Loop 1604 E. in San Antonio.
Mike was born on 31, 1946 in Dallas to Finis (Bill) and Maxine Willshire. He graduated from North Texas State University in 1968 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He served in the Air Force from 1968 to 1972 as a Communications Specialist and was part of the communications support team for NASAs Apollo 11 Mission-the first manned mission to the moon. He enjoyed getting to witness the historic launch up close. He then spent 18 months in the Philippines and returned to the US to work at NORAD in Colorado Springs. Mr. Willshires time in the USAF, he began a 30+ year career in Insurance with GAB, St. Paul Insurance Co., and USAA.
He was a dedicated family man, who was very active in the lives of his five children. His love of sports carried over to the kids, and he attended every Little League and soccer game he could, with lots of help practicing in between. It was hard to miss his trademark St. Louis Cardinals or Dallas Cowboys hats and shirts.
Mike was also a military history buff, whose model airplanes filled the ceilings of his sons bedrooms.
He is survived by his five children; Chris (spouse Monique), Katie Jenkins (spouse Stewart), Kent (spouse Brandy), Kyle, and Kevin (spouse Meghan), and seven grandchildren; Sarah, Abby, Claire, & Luke Jenkins; Emma Willshire, Tessa Willshire, and Matthew Willshire.
