Obituary: Walter E. Williamson died on 9, 2011. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on 13, 1931. He is survived by his children, Robert Williamson and wife Robin, Mary Christian Payne and Kelly Williamson, grand children, Christy Payne, Blaine Williamson and Grant Williamson, and great granddaughter, Starla Payne Ortiz. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. John Williamson and wife Mary Beth, sister Nancy Ellen Dean and husband Bill and their respective families, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter graduated from Alamo Heights High School and attended Texas A&M University and The University of Texas. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Army in the 2nd Rocket Forward Artillery Battery. He loved the outdoors and raised pure breed cattle at his Windy Ridge Farms near Nixon, TX, then worked for Ed Flume Building Specialties up until his retirement in 2009. Visitation will be 12, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough, San Antonio, TX. MEMORIAL SERVICE

Obituary: W.T. Thurman Williamson, 90, of Bryan, passed away afternoon at St. Joseph Regional in Bryan. Visitation will be , 13th from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Chapel in Bryan. Memorial Services are scheduled for , 14, 2015 at Memorial Chapel in Bryan at 2 p.m.
Thurman was born 25, 1925 in Hereford, Texas to Connie C. Thurman and Henry V. Williamson. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1943 and enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II where he served in the Hospital Corps. serving his country, he enrolled in Texas A&M and received his Bachelors in Entomology in 1949. He then married the love of his life, Elizabeth Been on 14, 1949.
In 1971 Thurman moved his family to Bryan where he worked for the U.S.D.A. until he retired in 1984. He then became an independent crop insurance adjuster until 1993. Thurman loved his church and was a member of the Cavitt Church of Christ in Bryan where he served as a Deacon and an Elder for many years. He loved Aggie Football and loved to paint landscapes and portraits, but most of all he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and an older brother Henry Howard Williamson.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Williamson of Bryan; a son, Bryan Williamson and his wife Melissa of Bryan; a daughter, Sue Williamson of Bryan; three grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Kyla, Tyler Williamson, and Kari Williamson; great-nephew, Heath Williamson and wife Liz; great-niece Connie Six and her husband Greg; and his beloved Chihuahua Ginger.
Memorials may be made to the Cavitt Church of Christ in Bryan, or to the Sunny Glen Childrens in San Benito, Texas.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Glenda Southers Williamson, his children, Travis E. Williamson Jr., Dena G. Williamson, Rhonda Williamson Garcia, Sherry D. Tisdale, Donald Williamson, and Janice Williamson Pucci, his sisters, Faye Williamson Glover, Patsy Williamson Peterson, and Linda Harris Dodd, his brothers, Johnny C. Harris, and Rodney G. Harris. He was blessed with 17 grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.

Cpl. Travis E. Williamson served his country proud, enlisting in the Marines 1947-1956, Camp Pendleton, California. His awards and decorations include the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, China Service Medal, Korean Service Medal w/ two Campaign Stars, and the Korean United Nations Service Medal. Four years after receiving an honorable discharge, Travis married his soul mate Glenda and she had a one year old daughter named Sherry whom he loved and cherished as his own. To complete their family, Travis and Glenda went on to have three more children, Travis Jr., Dena, and Rhonda. Travis adored and cherished all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and they adored and cherished him too. He was a jack of all trades professionally, mostly labor jobs, but his passion was poker. He had a beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and a love so deep for his entire family that he would do anything in the world for them. He will be forever missed by all whom had a chance to know and love him.

Mrs. Williamson passed away on , 27, 2011 in Whitehouse from a long, hard battle with Alzheimers disease.

She was born on 6, 1941 in Little Rock, AR. to the late Dan and Norma Jean Dalhoff Kirklin.

She graduated from N. Little Rock High School in 1959 and attended college at the University of Arkansas. She took employment in San Antonio in the middle sixties and then was hired by Braniff International as a flight attendant in 1967 and worked there until 1982. Her favorite trip was the Honolulu run on the Big Orange.

Toni loved her black labs; Pepper, Dutchess, and Molly and they loved her. She also loved her golf and the many friends she had on the course.

Toni married Russell Williamson in 1975 and lived in Carrollton, Athens and Tyler.
She is survived by her husband; Russell of Tyler, sister; Dana of Dallas, nephew; Kirk of Fort Worth and a niece of Dallas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Obituary: Tommy Lynn Williamson age 52 of San Antonio passed away unexpectedly , 8, 2011. He was born to Lee Roy and Betty Rose Hamm Williamson on 19, 1958 in Tyler, Texas. He attended school in Copperas Cove and Gatesville, Texas and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1976. graduation, he attended Texas State Technical in Waco, Texas. Tommy married his high school sweetheart, Melva Jacobs in 1977 and they made their home in Gatesville until 1989. He began working with H.E.B. at the age of 16 and remained for 25 years. He was proud to have managed numerous H.E.B. meat markets around central Texas. Tommy also held numerous regional and corporate positions within the company including the Warehouse Buying Office. He later joined Daymon Worldwide as a Senior Business Manager in the Food Brokerage Industry where he remained until his death. He was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church where he served on various committees including the Board of Ministry. Tommy was an avid lover of the outdoors, whether hunting, golfing or riding his Harley. His love for fellow man was evident during his life as he donated blood and platelets and that love continued even after his death. His family and his faith were central in his life and he loved being a father and a grandfather to Jessica, Kristen and Jacob. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Melva; daughters Jessica Taylor and husband, Jeramie, and Kristen Kelley and husband, Drew; his grandson, Jacob Taylor; his parents; brother, Phillip; sister, Laurie Ramsay and her husband, Lee; mother-in-law, Lorene Jacobs; sisters-in-law, Marla Kelsey and husband, Robert and Mona Carter and husband, Andy; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
