Obituary: Robert Carl Williams, Jr., 58, born on 24, 1951 in Galveston, TX to Robert Carl Williams, Sr. and Peggy Rose Jackson Williams, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on 16, 2009 in Houston, TX. Bob attended Southwest Texas State University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He was a graduate of University of Houston and his Cougar pride continued throughout his life. An avid sportsman, he had a passion for all sports, particularly coaching softball. An active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, he served in many capacities, some of which include his involvement with the school, service as an Elder, and a particular favorite was his music ministry, singing with the choir. He was currently employed as Vice President of Tax at Aker Solutions. Preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Vicky Lynn Williams and brother, Terrance Lee Williams. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Gayle Morgenroth Williams; daughters, Lindsay Marie Williams, Kelly Ann Williams, Lauren Denise Williams and Lindsays fiancé, James Scott; sister, Michelle Cruz. Also surviving is a host of many other loving relatives and friends and Bobs much loved dachshund, Emma. A celebration of Bobs life will be held at 7:00 p.m., , 20, 2009 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl, Houston, TX. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bobs name to St. Mark Lutheran Chruch.
