Obituary: .Judith (Judy) Marie Whiteman was born 29, 1938 in Eureka, Kansas to Harold E. and Opaldean Higbee. She passed into the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ on 1, 2014 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Judy attended her elementary school years in Neal and Reece, Kansas. She started high school in Eureka, Kansas but soon realized she wanted to be in a smaller school so for her sophomore year she transferred to Piedmont Rural High School. There she met the young man who became her life-long companion and husband, Roy Vaughn Whiteman. married 10, 1956, shortly after she graduated from high school and while Roy was in the Army at Ft. Hood, Texas. To this union were born three children: Angela Christine (Chris), Linda Darlene, and Roy Daniel. Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roy; Christine and Jim McClune of Amarillo, Tx; Linda and EB Attaway, granddaughters Natalie and her husband Bobby Jones, and Melanie Appel, all of Cypress, Tx; and, Roy and Terri and their children Mical and Nathaniel. For the past four years, Roy and Judy lived in Cypress, Texas with their daughter Linda and her husband EB. Judy was able to live these last four years in the company of her family, her precious kitty, Sweetie Pie, and the other Attaway animals she so loved to watch. The celebration of passage will be held at Brookside , Cypress, 9149 Hwy. 6 North, Houston, Tx at 1:00PM, , 4, 2014. Interment will be in the National , 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas on 10, 2014 at 12:45PM. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, any donations be given to The Alzheimers Association. |

Obituary: Donald Dell Whiteman was a true son of Montana. He was born 3, 1944 in Sidney, Montana to Fredrick and Elva Whiteman. He, along with his sister Rita, was raised on the farm that was homesteaded by his grandparents. He graduated from Richey High School. high school, he studied TV Repair in Denver at the Emily Griffith School. He sold Kitchen Clean Pots & Pans to pay for school. He returned to Richey where he started Dons TV Repair and worked at the local TV studio in Sidney, MT. In 1966 he went to work for a fledgling company called Western Telecommunications Inc. which eventually became AT&T Broadband. Don was a pioneer, introducing cable television to rural areas. Don held many positions, one of his favorite was launching satellites, and he traveled extensively - including the Middle East. Don moved his family to Denver in the 1970s and retired in 2004 as a senior executive from AT&T. Don married Brenda Cherry in 1986, and they lived in Denver until they retired and moved to Comfort, Texas in 2005. He was active in the community, loaning from his antique car collection for the 4thof and Christmas parades, and helping out at church functions (regardless of the denomination). He was always the first to volunteer, no matter what the task, and his famous giggle will be missed. He loved carpentry, antique cars and tractors, tending the fig orchard and playing games, especially Dominos and Risk. Don is survived by his wife Brenda. His two sons, Scott (Bridget) and Darin, sons of Barbara Brantz, from Denver, his daughter Tamra Ratner (Paul) from San Antonio; three grandsons, Andrew, Matthew, and Ethan, one granddaughter Rela, his sister, Rita, from San Francisco and his nephew Fredrick.
