Obituary: Frances Mary Basile Wentink was born 14, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois and joined our Lord on 12, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She married her husband of 44 years, Mike, on 12, 1970 and began their life together in San Antonio, where he was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston. As an Army wife, she set up many new homesteads, including ones in Korea and Germany. Eventually, with three young boys in tow, they settled in Springfield, VA, right outside of Washington, D.C.; she always brought smiles and lively conversation to family and friends, all the while running a happy household, working at several law firms, and taking classes at the local community college. In 2007, by then retired, they moved back to San Antonio, prompted by the birth of their first grandchild. Over the years, Fran and Mike traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe, South America and Africa. She was known for her homemade pizza and passion for taking pictures, gardening and shopping. A beloved wife of Michael J. Wentink; loving mother of Frank C. (Uni) Wentink, Mark A. (Hayley) Wentink, and Michael J. (Angela) Wentink, Jr.; doting grandmother of Vincent, Gianna, Mark Jr., Annabella, Joey, and Victoria. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gelsomina Basile, dearest twin sister, Virginia Csolkovits and elder sister, Carolyn Parisi. The family will hold a visitation 28th from 5-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset North . A Mass in celebration of Frans life will begin at 9:30 a.m. on 29th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Obituary: On 16, 2013, William B. Wensel, Jr., known to his loved ones as Little Billy, was laid to rest and is at peace with the Great Spirit. He is in company of his Gramps Efren V. Meza and his Uncle Javier. Little Billy loved his family. He is survived by his loving parents William B. Wensel, Sr., and Ileana Wensel; His caring brothers Raul, Joshua, and John; His Affectionate sisters Yessica, Nikki, and Susan. Little Billy will be watching over his nephews Izzy, Devin and Anthony and niece Sam as their Guardian Angel. He will be missed by his Abuelita Chepis and his many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Obituary: Walter Paul Walt Wenning passed away on 11, 2010. The family will receive friends at Sparkman/Crane in Dallas from 6-8 PM, , 17, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 PM. The Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, , 18 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Rd. Dallas 75218, with Rev. Josef Vollmer-Konig, Presider. A Commital service will be held at Calvary Hill Mausoleum in Dallas. Walt was born to Joseph and Anna Wenning on 28, 1919 in Coldwater, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Benetta Falsone Wenning. He is survived by his sons David and Chuck, Chucks wife Kim; grandchildren, Courtney Stice, Adrienne Wenning, Christopher Wenning, Derek Wenning, and Kyle Wenning; and great granddaughters, Sophie and Toby Stice. Walt is also survived by his brother Jim and his wife Juanita of Coldwater, Ohio and a number of nieces and nephews. Walt was a charter member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and was particularly active during its formative years. He was also a long time member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He graduated from International Business , Fort Wayne, Indiana, and worked in Coldwater until enlisting in the Army in 1942. He served primarily in the Pacific until his discharge in , 1946. He then worked for The Associates before joining North Dallas Bank. While with the bank he received his diploma in Commercial Banking from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He was also active in the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, serving as an officer and director for 10 years. He retired as a Senior Vice President of North Dallas Bank in 1986. Walt loved to play golf and was a member of Lakewood Country Club for 25 years. He loved his family, his faith, and all of his many friends. under the direction of Sparkman-Crane , Dallas, TX. |
